I never said it was a PAL game... I loaded mario kart USA and it asked to update my wii and after checking I was at 3.3 I let it....
I still hear that if you let it do a region update you might brick.
You can set the region and remove the update with that ap I posted before burning the ISO. Makes it better all around.
I just ran into the first game that I cannot get to run.
I burned Rockstar Table Tennis (NTSC) and the Wii recognizes the disk but after it strats then I get the "The Game Disc could not be read." error message.
I checked the iso and it is NTSC and no updates. Any guesses why it won't read? I might try to burn again on a DVD+RW to see if it was a burn issue.
EDIT: I just tried the disk like 4 more times and this last time it worked just fine. No idea why not before. I did wipe the disk one extra time. Maybe it was smudged? No idea but the game plays now. LOL. As I am writing this the disk just gave the same error again. This time it got much further into the game. Maybe I did a bad write. I burned this disk at 4X when usually I only do 2.4X. I guess that could have donw it but it still passed data verification.
Go figure...kept trying and now I am playing.....no idea what is causeing it to work sometimes and not other times. Maybe a flaw in the d2pro9 chip??
Burned disk again but getting same results. Doesn't always error in same spot. No idea why but this is the only game so far I can't get to run properly.

Reason: edit:new results
I just burned my torrent NTSC copy of Rockstar Table Tennis at 4x using IMGBURN and it worked fine with my d2pro9 v2 running v3.3U firmware. I'm using TDK DVD+R media
d2pro : Home just released the alternative 2.1 firmware update today for the d2c users who are having problems with the d2pro! The wait is finally over!
