Use DVD-Rs to eliminate disc read issues.

Ive tried burning 2 different iso on 2 different dvd+r discs, but still it doesnt work.
BUT orignial games like wii sports still work without any problems

Does this mean i have installed the chip properly?
am sure i have clipped the solderless chip in properly

im goin to burn the iso usgin a dvd-r now.

if this still fails, is my chip faulty?

I dont want to solder anything, as i can return the chip back to the supplier!, but i just want to know if the chip is faulty or my dvd media

The sure way to tell if its your Chip is to try an get hold of a backup know to be working from someone you know then try it on yours, if doesn't work then its most likely your chip. Or have one else try your back up to see if it works on someone elses wii. Make sure your your chip is seated correctly, even a slight misalignment and it will not work which is why the experts recommend soldering.
