    d2pro9 v2 problems

    Hi,

I just modded my Wii with a d2pro9 v2 chip. I tried Wii Play (which is real) and Mario Kart Wii (backup), and they both worked. Afterwards, I left my Wii for a while and it started making strange clicking noises. I turned it on, and tried to play another game, WarioWare (backup) and it wouldn't play. After the initial Main Menu screen, where the WarioWare logo would appear fine, I would click "Play" and it would take me to a black screen that said "Your disk could not be read. Please eject and restart and refer to the Wii manual" or something along those lines.

I then tried Mariokart, which worked just half an hour before, and it didn't work either, taking me to the same screen. Wii Play also would not work. This one would take me to the wriststrap screen, but after i bypass it, it would either just freeze or it would show the same "disk cannot be read" dialogue.

Could it be my laser that was broken? When I was testing the games out, I didn't bother to close the case and laid the dvd drive upside down on the Wii, so I could see my chip. Could the position of the drive have broken something while it was operating?

    Thanks for the help.

/edit: After repeated tries using MarioKart, I managed to get it to work. But when I restarted it, it gave me the same error.

Let me guess.. U r using the WiiClip arent you?
It could be that one of the legs have been bent..
or not making contact.. try checking that..
usually that's the issue.. if u r using a WiiClip..
If u r not.. sorry for assuming.. I would say..
check the connections.. see if they are all good
