You most likely have a D2C2 on your Wii..
Moddable by the D2pro9 rev2 (in which I will have them in 2 weeks)
You can check here for more details & feedback on my mod services..

Hey guys. I never got around to doing this but I should be home soon. It seems I am best going soldered with a d2pro9. I will probably try to find a local installer. Anything else I should know?

    Olivares,

I live in California. I bought a chip (d2pro9 w solderless wiiclip) from Canadamods last Thursday and it was in my mailbox on Monday. I couldn't ask for faster turnaround, especially cross-country. I'm pretty sure they ship from a US zip.

Also, I think they have free shipping right now, so the total is like $85 out the door.

Definitely get the triwing, but if you don't have one you can use a really small flathead if you're super careful (I didn't get one and didn't want to wait, but I wouldn't recommend it).

Thanks for the response man. So no problems at all with the clip? Seems like in the long run soldered is better but I am still a bit torn. How was the install?

I just followed this video as I did it. Open to close took less than half an hour with me being extra careful and taking my time (I don't do a lot of stuff like this).

So yeah, install was a LOT easier than I thought it would be. If you're unsure, take the 10-15 minutes to watch the video front to back to see what all is involved.

I agree. Those two videos are excellent. I like that they tell you which screws do NOT need to be removed for modding (because some videos tell you to remove too many screws).

I successfully installed my first modchip ever following these videos. d2pro9 + presoldered wii-clip.
