An Error has Occured - Remove Disc

After installing the solderless D2Pro i keep getting An Error has Occured or it won't read the games at the Wii Menu. This includes non burnt games.

I took it off and put it back on and it only did it a couple times then I was playing games without any problems. So i buttoned it back up and then boom, all over again I can't get discs to play.

I put tape under the chip to keep it in place, if i used to much tape, is there a possibility that screwing the DVD-Rom drive back down is pushing to much on the chip and causing this?

    Any thoughts?

Also where does everyone route their programming cable?
