New to this would like help please

    Hi,

Im new to the forums and would like some help please. I have recently bought my son a new console and im considering chipping it. I have done a check on the serial number which is:

    LEH1840****

I get the following from the checker when i enter the serial:

There is a 50% chance that your drive chip is a GC2-D2C
There is a 50% chance that the pins on your drive chip are not cut.

Is this Wii moddable and which one would i buy, soldering is not an issue as my dad is an ex tv engineer.

Any help is very much appreciated.

argon and d2pro9 use the same wasabi firmware.d2pro works on all wiis where as argon only works for d2cs right now...so go with the d2pro9

Thanks for the reply think ill plump for the D2PRO9, how easy is it to install, as i said in my first post my dad is experienced in soldering but that was with big TV circuit boards. Im not sure whether to attempt myself or get a pro to do it.

    Cheers

wow....being so used to soldering them...that I never really thought about the size..... ...

    back to reality....

thanks GMODZ for all your input..... it's appreciated......
