    Can I watch DVDs on a modded Wii?

    But I got it, burned it, and nothing really happens when I turn on my Wii with the CD inside...

    Is there any other tool around?

    yes..it does play dvd/divx with the mfe media player app.

    burn it to dvd..put it in.... use your GC controller to run it.

    after app has loaded...you will know.... eject the app dosc and pop in your dvd/divx movie...and again use your GC controller for the appropriate functions...

    I burned this [Only Registered Members May View Links| Click here to register] to a DVD, and on the Wii home I do get that there's a gamecube game in there, but when I run it all I get is:
    An error has occurred. Press Eject Button, remove Game Disc, and turn the power off. Please read the Wii operations manual for more information.

    I thought it would.. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but afaik, it's fine, 'cause other gamecube games I've got, run ok...

    I guess I'll use wiitv or something like that that I can access through opera...

    If someone else has any suggestions, please let me know...
