D2CKey "partial compatibility" for NTSC <-> PAL games

Can anybody tell me what "partial compatibility" means when referring to the use of NTSC games on a PAL Wii using the D2CKey? All the sites I've read say it works but there's no mention of what the heck "partial compatibility" actually means.

FWIW, I read about a guy who got an NTSC .iso to work on his PAL Wii (or maybe vice-versa) by simply switch the the 60Hz/50Hz selection.

Any help is much appreciated!

Partial compatibility simply means that not all the games will work on both ntsc and pal regions. Some ntsc games may not work on pal and some pal may not work on ntsc. That's all it means.

About the 50/60Hz thing I'm not sure. I've read about that too, but I think its only for after you have a chip installed. Don't quote me on that because I'm not sure.
