    Burning media

Hi, I'm new to this scene and I'm about to get a D2PRO 9 V4C with 2.4/1.6. Will a Verbatim 16x DVD-R be okay to burn games onto?
    Thanks!

Well it's considered to be one of the best medias for Wii backups...
    Just make sure it's genuine

A Wii backup is the same as .ISO correct?

    No
ISO is a disc image format, a container of data.
You could say "All Wii backups are in ISO, but not all ISOs are Wii backups"
(Ok, this is for simplicity's sake, let's not get too technical)

Or Tayo Yuden would be ok. I burned with 4x speed and seemed to work fine.
