May be it'll be released in Korea soon? lol
I have a similar problem with a friend's korean wii here...
Supposedly they have updated to 3.3 us region using possibly rebooters in backup launcher since this wii doesn't have a modchip.
I have a wiikey2 modded pal wii and a us wii with a d2ckey clone at my disposal...
d2ckey is a no go since it doesn't support korean region and fucks up with autoboot discs...
I investigated the region changing matter with wiikey2 and found the below information
how to activate region free feature on Wiikey v2? - WiiNewz - Wii modchip & hacking community
It's said that using a backup korean game would suffice to set the wiikey2 to korean region...
So is this the correct way of doing it?
On my pal wii, I'll use the wiikey2 recovery disc and then use a backup korean game to set it to korean region... then install the korean 1.2 update...(?) then remove the drive and install it into the semi-bricked korean wii
My hope is they still have the twilight hack save in the machine and I can use the autoboot Zelda NTSC-J disc with this setup and do the twilight hack...
ps1: Since I don't have an original korean region game, I'm also hunting for a korean game.
ps2: It seems no need for me to mess with wiikey2, I opened up the wii and see it's already modded with d2sun and region set to korea... I'll try the zelda hack rightaway... what do you think I should do to recover from semi-brick?
