UsaCanada Step by Step Wii Disassembly, D2PRO9 WiiClip Install , Ribbon Install , Reassembly

We've had these videos for quite some time now and distributed them to customers that asked, however we decided to convert the video and put it on youtube (a tedious task since youtube only allows 10 min). So we had to convert and split the files so youtube would accept it.

Hope you guys enjoy the step by step tutorial, and don't mind the inchorent babbling as its usually quite late a night when these tutorials are made.

Hi
As i am new to all this modding caper please bear with me, I may be in the wrong place if so appologies, my grandson asked me if we could mod his Wii and like a fool i said "yes, how hard can it be"? two chips and clips down the line and hours on the web I am no nearer getting it to work?, the problem seems to be that the darn clip will not stay on the chip? no matter how i try it just falls off, tried low pressure, medium pressure, short of Glueing it on i cant see any way it can be fitted; is it possible that some chips on the wii are different this is a d2c

have a look at the underside of the clip, make sure none of the pins are bent, head over to the [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] website i think thats it, make sure u dont have a clone...

when you put it on, does it hold at all? perhaps go onto youtube and watch some of the videos on installing wii-clips i find ozmodchips do very good tutorials for end-users, about 99% of problems with wii-clips are user errors, bare that in mind

Thanks for the prompt reply, no the chipp will not stay put, as soon as i turn it over it falls off?!! this has happened to two clips from different suppliers but both came with identical packing i.e multicolor protective cardboard, and white label to protect the underside, both said WWii clip with a link to [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register].
How can i tell if these are fakes or not?. if i hold the clip in place firmly i get one red light and then one blue light for a split second ? does this mean that the clips are ok.Also can you advise as to the media to use i.e verbatim+ or - or will any media do?
sorry to be a pain but his is getting silly now. wishede i had left well alone but my grandson has other ideas.!!!

I can assure you that if pressed any harder the board will break, believe me i have tried all ways to get this to stay put and nothing works? both chips have a hologram inside, but even after looking at the pics here it is extremely difficult to spot the difference beetween fake and real

still at my wits end with this problem just cant seem to find any info on the wii clip as to whether the problem lies with the board or the clip?. As I stated I have tried two clip and neither will clip on securely .If I hold the down while trying to play a backup all i get is cannot read disk ? but will play origanalsoh ?. both leds in the clip come on red then blue for a second then go out but backups reuse to play. Is it possible that it is just the media (verbatim +) tried a ritek - that did the same (anyone near Colwyn bay)????!!!!!
