D2PRO Blue Screen with newer games

Hi,
I have been running my D2PRO with no problems for the last year or more. I have recently run into this problem where I load a game and it shows up on the title menu but then the screen turns blue when you try to load the game. My most recent game was Beatles Rock Band. I do not have the homebrew channel installed. I have hw v2.3, fw v 1.7 and system 3.3u. I have looked for the past 2 days and can't find a solution. Please help.
Thanks!

Do your other games still work?
Is the RB Beatles a backup or original?
Is the RB Beatles in your region (NSTC)?

Yes all other games still work. The RB Beatles is a backup from another region, however, I used region free to change it to NSTC. I went out and rented RB Beatles to see if it works. I heard it may prompt me for an update. Should I update??? Will it mess up D2PRO???
Thanks for your help!

If you DO NOT have HBC on your Wii.
Go ahead and update only with your own region.

Yes there is no problem going on line with a chipped Wii.
Treat your Wii as if it did not have a mod chip.
The only thing the mod chip is doing, Is removing the copy protection.
It sort of works just like running backups on your PC, No deferents..
