D2pro6. Blue sticker and yellow serial. CD-rom won't read!!!!!

I installed a d2pro chip whit a blue sticker and a yellow serial sticker, on a d2c cdrom. Now the cdrom won't read any cd's. The chip flashes both blue and red lights, and eject works fine, but when it's about to read the drive stops and then the wii says it is unable to read disc???? Can anyone help me, it would be most appreciated since this is my second chip and cdrom
I solved the dead drive issue I shortend all the wires and resolderd the C point. After that the cdrom worked fine whit the wii sports game, but not whit the utilitydisc or a backup i had. Will burn a new one and try....
