I ordered a d2pro w/ wii clip and installed it on my Wii . The red LED would come on but not the drive. After contacting Canada Mods I was informed that the chip I recieved was for a D2C but there was a mod I could do make it work. Below is the email but I don't know what he is referring to. Can someone help me out with this problem.

....To make that chip work on a D2B, you need to cut one extra trace (or you
can block it off how we blocked DEF off, but it would require you to
unsolder the point. The point in question is 'C'. If you have an exacto
knife just cut the trace from the top, you could also use scissors if you
cut from the inside part (might be tricker to do that).

there should be a line on the clip comming from the C point, sever the line

I hate to sound ignorant but where is the "C" point located? Is there any chance someone may have a photo of it or a link to a photo ?

I was looking on the Wii drive unit not the D2pro
Found it and severed the trace and the drive now works
However when I put in a backup copy of MarioCart it load the game but
it hangs for a bit and then I get an error message that I should
eject the disk and repower the unit. Is this a problem with the burned DVD that I made? If so what must I do do correct the problem?
