    sysCheck 1.6.2 has been released

    sysCheck v1.6.2 by Erik Spyder

    This version is known to have a bug, look here for version 1.6.3 - http://www.wiihacks.com/customizatio...tml#post401298

    sysCheck does several checks on installed IOS and custom IOS:
    - IOS Stub;
    - Fake signature (aka Trucha Bug);
    - ES_DiVerify (aka ES_Identify);
    - Flash Access;
    - NAND Access;
    - Boot2 Access;
    - USB 2.0.

    sysCheck generates a report on the root of the SD card (sd:/sysCheck.csv).

    The author can not be held responsible for any damage sysCheck might cause!

    Changelog:

    Version 1.6.2
    * Automatically detect the language settings (supports english and french only);
    * Improve IOS stubs detection;
    * Recompiled with the latest version of DevkitPro;
    * Code cleanup.
    Download sysCheck 1.6.2

    How would you check what IOS you have in your system?

    1. get sysCheck (download above) to create a list of IOS's installed on your Wii.
    2. copy and paste the sysCHECK folder to the apps folder of your Wii SD card.
    3. run sysCHECK from homebrew channel, a .csv file will be created on the root of your Wii SD card.
    4. Take the Wii SD card back to your computer, copy the .csv file to your computer, open the .csv file with a compatible program, now you have a list of IOs's installed on your wii.

    How would you provide this information to someone on the forum if asked?

    1. Open the .csv file that was created by sysCHECK.
    2. Highlight the IOS list, right click and select copy.
    3. Paste the IOS list to a reply post of who requested the IOS list.

    Here is what the new IOS report looks like (v1.6.2)
    Of course your ISOes will be different than mine.

    Report generated on 2010/06/27
    I had to use Microsoft Works to open it, using notepad did not display the report correctly.

    See there, I never knew there was an IOS255 installed on my Wii, the old version of sysCheck never reported it.
