changing blank channel animations in thememii

Is there an easy way to change the blank channel animation for an mym theme?

For instance if I have a working theme that I like but don't like the blank channel animations and want to swap them for the blank channel animations of another working theme, is that possible or will that likely lead to a brick?

Messing with themes is likely to end in brick type tears. Messing with working themes is really asking for trouble.

If you have bootmii installed as boot2 then do whatever you like as you can recover a theme brick easily with it.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

I dont understand why people want to change the theme of their system menu
when in these days of usb loading,so little time is spent looking at the system menu!
More time is spent looking at the main menu in your preferred usb loader, and you can
change the themes in your usb loader with out the risk of bricking.
And if you have priiloader installed, you can autoboot back to your usbloader main menu
    everytime.

What about IOS bootmii with priiloader and a backup nand? Would that recover theme bricks or do you need bootmii as boot2? (my Wii can't do that).

Look there, it's in thick red letters

Remember only install themes if you have Bootmii/boot2 with a nand backup and priiloader

If you don't have bootmii/boot2 then don't chance it.

Ok thanks. I already installed darkwii, it worked out, lucky, I'm not going to mess with themes anymore.
