    Red face

I'm sorry, but the MK track links for 4.2 are down again. Could you please re-upload them? Thanks.

Links updated. Started adding version number as well for reference.

when you say it can work with PAL / NTSC / JAP retail games, does that means that I can play a JAP game with a NTSC or PAL game patched with riivolution? I'm asking this because we are translating Tales of Graces so we can play it out of Japan. Also, with a patched game, can we play online with the patch?

I think it has that functionality, but you'll want to read more in-depth from the main riivo site to know what/how to code your patches. Linked in the op.

Yes but there can be drawbacks depending on the patch. An example is in MKWii - assume you patch a track to look completely different: different textures, different laps, different track altogether. When playing online that patch is only contained on your console. Neither the server nor the other players will be able to see or interact with the patch you've loaded. Instead they might see you racing off into the sky or drifting through walls and fences on the un-patched, original track. If a Nintendo employee sees this activity on the server they could ban your console for online cheating, even though you technically aren't attempting to "cheat."

So long as the patch you implement doesn't impede what could be perceived by others as "normal gameplay" though, you shouldn't have any problems.

Taking the previous example, assume you patch the graphics of your course so that the black race track is now red and the sky is no longer blue, but now orange. While you can see these changes, no one else can. Since you're still racing the same path as everyone else, no foul.

Is there a guide available for install riivolution on a 4.3 version wii? I have a black wii running 4.3U. I just want riivolution don't care about homebrew or anything. I found a few guides on youtube, but I really don't want to follow those because the advice tends to be sub-par sometimes.

You should check out the riivolution home site for specific updates on how to install the channel on a 4.3 Wii. I believe it involves a one-time run of smash stack/indiana pwns, but best way to be sure is to check there.

Is it common for the brawl servers to go down? I was using it fine and then I tried to load a different mod and it stopped halfway and told me to take the disc out and turn my wii off. Now the mods don't load so I dunno what happened. Any ideas?
