Do you have .NET Framework installed? Does it give you an error message when opening...or?
does it tell you that you need to set a stage folder? if so, you need to use the reggiedumper to get the .ARC level files from the game and put those on your computer and set the folder they're in as the stage folder.
I've been having a play with reggie and seem to be doing ok,have made the first two levels of the original mario bros (i know other people have done it but seemed like a good way to learn the editor since we've all played this game to death!) What I wondered was if there is a way to change the direction that enemies start to walk in? For instance, the red koopa on mario bros 1-2 near the end, he's supposed to walk right first.
Also, thought i suspect i know the answer already, is it possible to alter the number of levels in a world in NSMB so i can build 8 worlds of 4 levels like the original? I suppose this would require some sort of map editor so doubt that would be possible but no harm in asking!
