LOL, I was trying to patch space road to the wrong .szs, but, nice to know that the download could be corrupted when getting an error, I finally got it to download uncorrupted.

Yeah it took me awhile to figure it out too. I kept referring back to page 1, checking the patch, the szs file I was patching etc. Kept getting an error. Once I noticed the file sizes were different, I thought..... well . LOL

EDIT.... Anyone else having trouble with moonview highway (space road) freezing upon startup? I thought I patched it right but may not have.
Repatched it making sure to patch the ridgehighway_d.szs then replace both, works like a champ now.

Well this is interesting. With the advent of Riivolution you can now load all your custom tracks in Mario Kart from an SD card, without ever patching an ISO:

If you go to the youtube page (hxxp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sSawr1ESLk), in the description he pasted links to all the files you need to do this, including the tracks themselves. So supposedly, coupled with Riivolution, you can download one file to give you what is shown in the video.

I've been messing around with my internet all weekend (see my blog) so I haven't gotten around to trying it yet, but it looks interesting. It also only works with original game discs right now, so no usb backups unfortunately.

For more on Riivolution see here.

Edit 3/24: I spent some time earlier tonight setting it up, and dear God I wish Riivolution worked for backups, because it is the s***! Literally you just put the files on your SD card, load the app, and all the hacks are enabled in the game. It's pretty ridiculous how easy it is.

If you've got the original disc handy and don't mind using it occasionally, USE RIIVOLUTION. It's worth it, if for nothing more than testing out new patches without having to constantly re-load your ISO.

No. And that's not a bug.

Yep, that quote's right at the top of the list of the page on Riivolution I linked above. There's a lot of compiled info and further discussion there if you're interested in the app. Here's the link again so there's no confusion: http://www.wiihacks.com/customizatio...-released.html

Also to the person that made the list for the new tracks, if your still adding stuff (it might be 3/24/2009) Are you updating ones made by the person called "Mr. Bean" then for "Wario's Gold mine", there is a "Wario's Space Mine"

Wario's Space Mine is just a texture hack, meaning it can be patched and played normally with anyone with an unpatched Wario's Gold Mine.

There are however a couple new tracks that have been added to the list. I'll edit that in a moment.

    Edit: Guide updated.

First make sure you're reading the descriptions included with the patch file you download. To clarify a little, for that particular patch you need to extract old_mario_64.szs from the ISO -> apply the patch file -> then replace truck_course.szs in the original ISO with your newly created, patched file.

Are you going to make a second list, not mixing the new tracks with the existing tracks. Just so I don't get confused which tracks ar the new ones.
