WD 2TB Drive Not Working-have you figured out the problem? I am having the same issue

I have a 1tb WD Essentials hard drive with 500 Wii Games on it. It works fine with Usb Loader. I just bought a 2tb WD Essentials HD. I cloned the 1tb drive to copy all the games to the 2 TB drive. Now when I go to load a game off the 2tb drive the screen goes black and then it returns back to the Wii menu. I tried manually copying an original game to the drive and the new game works fine. Any suggestions?

What is the model # of your 2TB drive, a few posts back the original poster discovered that the 2TB drive he has is not compatible.

Seems only one 2TB drive works - USB Devices Compatibility List - WikiTemp
