    cIOSCORP 3.5

How many people out there have this installed on their machine and are happy with it?

Let's once and for us find out if all the hard work the guys put into cIOSCORP has paid off.

To start, I'm on version 3.5 and have the Gamecube Backup Launcher which works great, It also runs Metroid Prime Trilogy Dual Layer, which previously was temperamental.

Here is the game compatibility list for cIOSCORP 3.5

I've installed it, but still messing with it. I've tried the guide on here and the cioscorp and at least I can get gamecube games to play with cioscorp, however I get a blank screen when I load wii games via usb loader gx. This is my 3rd Wii, and haven't had an issue with the other two using the regular guide. Maybe I'm missing a particular IOS?

The install was easy enough, however not being able to get my wii games to load is driving me up a wall. Suggestions always welcomed

Right. Honestly I have no idea how you have the patience to respond to all of these "I can't get my mod to work" because I was exhausted just reading through all of them! Thanks for the link, but this is the same guide I used initially, and roughly the same that I used on the first 2. I say initially, because I felt I pieced various guides together to get my original wii to play gc games through the disc channel and play wii games from the USB, however like an idiot, I didn't save any of the files or take note of what I did, hence the reason I'm here... again.

I don't know how many more times I can re-read that guide. I just feel like there is something else missing that I'm not installing here. I believe I used some modified cmIOS or mIOS to get the gc games to work, which I know isn't in the guide, but I believe is in the cioscorp (which is why I can play through the disc channel), but I can't seem to figure out why ever GD Wii game from the USB just gives me a blank screen.

The only thing I don't thing I've tried is NOT upgrading 3.4 (which is what is currently on the wii) to 4.1. Maybe that's the next thing to try, however restoring my NAND repeatedly is getting old and I'm sure my Wii is just loving it too.

I'll keep plugging away at it, do a little more research, and eventually figure it out. If I do, I'll post what mistakes I made.

Let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Have you tried WiiFlow instead of USB loadergx for loading through USB?

Well, I can't really explain it, but the only way I've been able to get games to load is by using the Hermes cIOS222 install. Once I installed that, I could select 222 on usbloader GX and it worked like a charm, however I had to wait a milenium for it to read my entire fat partition upon loading the program. Configurable USB loader was my next choice and appears to work just as well, however it loads much quicker.

Why isn't hermescIOS222 included in the softmodding any 3.1 - 4.1 guide? I don't recall, is this included in cIOSCORP?

Don't know why it isn't mentioneD in the guide, but it is not in any version of cIOSCORP.

Well, considering my particular issue, I would say that's just one small thing missing from the entire packwage, otherwise everyone involved with cIOSCORP did a good job. Possibly add to next version?
