How to create Channels (Forwarders) from games on USB loaders.

This process enables you to run backup games as channels without using a loader.
What you need
Your game ISO’s on your USB HDD.
Copy of WiiKrazy’s Crap. 2.1b (Yes its really called that)

Latest version is Crap V3.3b http://www.wiidewii.com/data/CrapV3.3b.rar


1)Download Crap
softwarehere

2)Unpack .rar file
3)Execute crap.exe
4)Select ISO
5)select Loader, choose the one with most options.
6)Create channel
7)Check files, wad is crated in CrapV2.1b\wad
8)Copy New SUPER MARIO BROS. Wii - UMNP - SMNP01.wad to SD\wad ( or whatever game)
9)Install with wad manger
Done!!) New Channel created

This game is typical and only uses 6 blocks of Wii memory.

Credit goes to sociallyantisocial for introducing this feature to me.

Yes, you can download HBC from the title in my sig.
Place wads in SD\wad
Wad manager is an application that goes in SD\apps\wad manager.

Must the Loader be preinstalled as a channel in Wii before "Select Loader" in Crap_v2.1 ?

No loaders are required. You choose a loader to get the options, I use USB Loader GX and thats not on the list.

Great stuff! How 'safe' is it?

I have not heard of anyone coming to grief with it, as with all hacking its at your risk.
If you did make a bad wad, you could delete it, but I never have.
