I've seen it, read about it, might be handy but I will never like the idea of anything doing stuff to my wii automatically. Control is one thing I like to have when I'm softmodding and I find it difficult to relinquish it to an app. If something were to mess up, how would you know where to start to fix it?

have to agree with baboo77 nothing like knowing exactly what's installed on your wii plus upgrading components when you have a clear understanding of each installed area makes more sense to me. i guess if it doesn't brick it though I have seen a few requests on these forums when people have installed it.

All you have to do is download the missing IOS files, or updates for them with NUS downloader and install them with wad manager. You can check THIS list to see what IOS files you need to update for certain games to work.

If your game is NOT on the list then scroll down to Post 2 for info on how to find out which IOS your game uses.
    Damn I suck!!!!

Baboo77: I'm not sure about pmw 1.31 but the newer 1.32 version has manual updates available, and it dump info to a .csw on the root of the sd letting you know what ios has what setting. So, if you run the test to se what pmw wants to change first. then check the info you can manually install with whatever settings you want turned on or off per ios. I think pmw combined with the post Krank linked in his post can be quite useful, but I've also seen a lot of negativity towards it around the web. I'm just wondering if there's something about it I'm missing. I'm trying to evaluate it whether I like it myself still.

I have seen some fails with this App as well and that bugs me, especially when advertise it like the best thing since whatever came after sliced bread. It probably works great for most cases but what I don't like about it is that you will get some noobs who will use this cause it is quick and easy and it might work. But they will be totally lost if something happens later on cause they have no clue of how to do the basics of softmodding. I can do anything this app can and more using Dopmii.

I've used it once before for evaluation purposes and it's actually a pretty nice app. It doesn't automatically change anything. It checks your installed IOSs, cIOSs, and MIOS against the most recent revs and gives you the option to manually install the most recent revs if you want or skip them as you see fit. I do see a lot of potential for noob error seeing as how it gives you the ability do things like to play with system menus IOSs and put the Trucha bug in every IOS.
