    if you have preloader or bootmi installed use one of them to navigate to the homebrew channel and run menufy again and install a different theme

    same system files corrupted.

    Hi all, I have been looking around and I have the same issue as deviousPaul.
    I installed the MyMenuify and selected JayandSilentbob.csm. After reboot, i press A, and then the message about system files corrupted appears.
    I have bootmii, but I can't get the wii to boot with bootmii.
    My bootmii.ini is configured as follow:
    VIDEO=PAL50
    AUTOBOOT=OFF
    Honestly, I also tried the HBC autoboot. I tried to press "reset" at bootup.
    I tried "+" and "-" together at bootup, but nothing lets me into Homebrew.
    Also, my wii has one of the early wiikey installed.
    Please any suggestion to get the wii to start are welcome.

    Thanks
    Nic

    the "system files corrupt" message appears, you should turn off your wii, unplug any cords and usb flash drives, wait a couple of minutes, then plug them back in and turn on your wii. the message will have dissappeared. it was most likely a system error.

    its happened to me before, my wii is fine now.

    Shadowlord12 your advice is appreciated but is 100% completely and totally wrong in this instance. It is quite clear that Nickbt has corrupted his settings by mucking around with themes.

    Here's my bootmii text which works 100% of the time on my Pal Wii
    Code:
    # BootMii config file

    # Video mode, possible settings:
    # NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, PROGRESSIVE
    VIDEO=PAL50

    # Autoboot, possible settings:
    # SYSMENU, HBC
    #AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU

    # Autoboot delay, in seconds:
    # Default is 5
    #BOOTDELAY=5

    Uk 4.0E Wii. Wiikey2. Softmod. 320GB WD My Passport Essential WBFS/FAT32 USB Drive.
    Intel i7 920 Quad core oc 4Ghz, 6GB Tri-RAM, Radeon 4890.

    I have checked ALL the PAL themes and so far 2 of them have caused a brick. so unless you have preloader and/or Bootmii as Boot2 then don't install :

    Army of darkness.csm

    or

    JayandSilentbob.csm

    P.s if i find any problems with anymore ill be sure to let you know. NTSC themes not check as of yet!!

    EDIT: Sorry meant to say im on PAL 4.1E

    Thank you all for the suggestions. I also got a GC controller plugged to simulate the savemii, which brings me to a black screen with 4.1(EUR) but the WII still does not take any bootable DVD.
    Since the I am not able to retrreive the system files for the wii, I am planning to change the board that holds the system files/OS.
    Does anyone know which component needs to be replaced or which board?
    Also, can you think of any issues doing that?
    Thank to Tealc for your bootmii file, but that still didn't work.
