hi there guys i have just soft modded my wii . i have backup launcher . to launch my backups .. but someone now tells me you can get your backups to launch through the disc chanel .. this would be great .. how would i do this . i am running 4.1e with backup launcher 0.3g and homebrew chan . what do i need to get . could someone please show me or let me know where i can get such files . or is it not possible ..

It is possible. I think what you want is cioscorp. Search it on this forum. Another way you can do it without having to do anything else to your wii is to using gamma like you have been but press 1 to enter options and reload the game using hooks. That game will then show up in the disc channel. Now if I am not mistaken, you can then play any burned game from the disc channel as long as you dont power off the console. Once you power it down, youll need to reload using hooks again like I said above.

you will only see the discs of your region in the disc channel, not other region discs.

I can see pal discs and play them through the disc channel with my ntsc wii and cioscorp 2.1 and 3.0 . I havent tried 3.1 or 3.2 since the person who put these out are not part of the softmii group.

3.1 and 3.2 are softmii, they just changed their name is all. As a matter of fact, I read somewhere that Waninkoko gave them cIOS rev11, don't know if it's true or not, but never did see a release for that one.

Tried cioscorp 3.2 and now i cant see pal games in my disc channel

might try to go back to 2.1 or 3 because i have a lot of pal games.

EDIT: went into preloader and enabled anything that had region free disc, and force disc region and now my pal games work great.
