Sup people. Am new to the place, and need help. been up for 2 nights digging stuff out no luck. I want new cool looking channels like emulators and game on my wii menu. I know I need WAD files and then load that with the wadmanger. problem is where do I get these wad files! there no where. Ive followed so many peoples links but they are dol files. You can only load them from your card through homebrew channel. How do I get the Channels. Some people have wadmanger as there channel. What did they do, load it up with another wadmanger from the sd card. But where do they get the files. If am wrong about this please help me out. I just recently installed hombrew channel, wadmanger and cIOS installer (cIOS38 rev10 I think), done everything through the network. Am I missing anything? I tried few stuff out, seems to be working. Some apps dont fully work still got to try the backup games through disc and USB.

I don't see why you are having such trouble, the wad files are out there, you just need to look.
For example if I wanted the Snes9x emulator channel to be installed all I needed to do was type in "snes9x channel" and the first link that came up that wasn't a youtube video featured the download.
As for VC channels there are repositiories here on this very site and I'd imagine channels for everything else if you had a mind to look for them.
Me, I can't be arsed with so many channels as they clutter up things. How often do we actually use Wad manager and is it really worth having it wasting your Wii NAND space when you could be using it for games?

same same. It blows my mind when I see some people's set up. My screen is just the default disc channel & USB Loader GX. I do have two wiiware games and I hide those over on the next screen as I dont play them often, along with HBC.

cool. cheers. other thing is, you said wii NAND space, is that the system wii memory. if so how do i put games in that. when i download a game from wii browser or utilities it save in the sd card.
[Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] is a good spot for quite a few wads that are VC games and such. All of them install as channels when installed with wadmanager. I have a bunch and i believe all are confirmed working with no bug issues.
