    doesnt seem to work

ok, went ahead and gave it a try since your virus scan didnt detect anything. i ave mine set pretty sensitive. i tries making two diffrent multi game isos, and niether one would work. tried them on neogama and wigator gc backup launcher. both of them did the same thing. didnt give me any games to select from and booted into rebooter or reloader, what ever it was called, and said dvd 9 version at the top of screen, and did a disc check and said the drive worked fine and asked me to insert a dvd. i re did both of the images using version 3.5.4f+ and they worked fine so not sure if this is somthing im doing or if somthings wrong with 4.0.4

OK, you claim that the DVD9 function doesn't work, have you tried the DVD5 function?

lol .......... thats the problem, it was set at dvd5. burned 4 coaster. that was the first thing i checked when i tried the second time. not sure whats going on ..... its obviously somthing on my end though cause no one else seems to be having this problem that i have saw. think my pc is possesed ... had another incedent with my virus scan. installed a new game that just came out ... emergency 2012, and avg once again said the .exe of the game was a high level security risk virus name unknown and no description. (same as i had for 4.0.4f) anyway went to official site and downloaded the newest update patch thinking it would over write the game exe with the new one in the update and it said that was a virus too. never had any trouble with avg in the 4 years ive used it. anyway, gona tri 4.0.4 one more time just be sure i didnt have a double dumb-a** attack last time

I don't ususally make a multi ISO disc, but I just tried 4.0.4f and get the same problem you did. I don't recall if I created a DVD9 or not, but when I try to boot the disc with Neogamma I am taken to a DVD9 menu. I'm creating another multi ISO now, making sure DVD5 is selected.

I think the problem is 4.0.4f, I tried burning 2 discs, get the same screen, press the load button and nothing happens, it's like there's no games on the disc. I wonder if somebody with a DVD9 disc can try this.

I can also confirm that the new version 4.0.4 does not work properly. You get a ? when you try to extract the individual iso's from your newly created multi-game iso's. And the wii will not recognize the individual games on the disc. This was not a problem with version 3.5.4. In version 3.5.4, you could extract the individual iso's from the multi-game iso's, and the wii recognized the indivdual games on the disc.

Are we talking about DVD9 or DVD5?
I just tested a DVD5 on a chipped wii, it worked as expected, showed 2 games and both worked.
I will test a DVD9 and report back.
The DVD9 in the menu means you have v4 of GCOS which supports DVD9, this is correct.
Maybe the setting of the region code in de iso header is causing the problems...

DVD9 is not the problem, I have created a DVD5 ISO, and upon loading it with NeoGamma, a DVD9 screen is displayed. There are two buttons displayed, load and credits. Pressing the load button does nothing.

What I am doing is trying to create a multigame ISO, DVD 5, NTSC(USA), for use with a softmodded Wii, using NeoGamma to load the disc.

I will test with GC backup launcher and different version of the cMIOS. Here is a link to the NeoGamma r9 thread where WiiPower has been improving GC compatibility with NeoGamma.
