    GC Dumper for Wii?

Hey I've searched around for a dumper program for Wii similar to USB Loader GX, that will dump GC games also. I don't have a proper LG DVD drive to do it with my computer, which is why I need to do it with my Wii. So far I've only found this, which is a wifi dumper, but it is extremely slow compared to direct USB dumping (it takes about 40 minutes). Is there a USB dumper that will dump Gamecube games?

Also, sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I thought it made the most sense to go here.

Probably or maybe the WODE. USB support for GC ripping on a "typical" softmod or modchip doesn't exist for ripping GC games. The section you posed this question in is OK. I do believe there's a GC-specific section of the site, FWIW (though you likely won't find any different answers on this subject).

Yes Configurable USB Loader v 51(I think its 51) and above will Rip GC Disks. I know v57b has that option.

EDIT: Although you can't PLAY the game from USB. This option is only to backup your Original GC disks.
    Damn I suck!!!!

I stand corrected (GC ain't my thing, that's Stomp's specialty based on his tutorial). Thanks for addressing my oversight, Krank.

I don't have a retail GC disc to try it, I would format, to WBFS format, a 2GB or higher capacity USB memory stick. Then put that in the outter most usb port and start up Configurable USB Loader and try to rip the GC disc to the USB port. I do know that Configurable USB Loader will not recognize a backup copy of a GC disc

or you could look for a Wii app called super dumper or something along that name, superdump, super dump, super dump, you get the picture, I don't know the exact name of it. It should rip a retail GC disc a quick as a usb loader.

Well I thought I remembered you mentioning in another post a while ago that it worked with CFG. Also remember reading it in the Changelog.

However I just tried it with my retail SMS disk and It won't rip it so I'm not really sure anymore.. maybe it only works with the FAT version of the loader. ( looking into it)

You might have to go with what stomp said above.

Maybe it will just load the discs for playing them. It's worth looking into, it sure would make it easier to rip the retail GC discs.

I can confirm that it does load the original disk to PLAY. But it won't Rip. It's possible I misunderstood the change-log a while back. If this is the case, my bad!

If anyones wondering the WODE can rip and play GC games from the hdd and I can confirm it works very well in regards to both of those features.
