Thread: Is kgb archiver and it's files reliable?

your question makes no sense, KGB archiver is a free, open source and cross-platform file archiver and data compression utility. How will it help you 'get iso's' ?

well, i downloaded a legend of zelda twilight princess that is 1MB in size, but after decompressed by kgb it reaches regular size. My point is is it safe cause it sounds way too good to be true

look, i'm just a really really big noob (you probably noticed) that thinks games= good bad stuff= bad
and to me, isos are game files, like the file that is recorded onto a dvd

i find it highly unlikely that ANYTHING could compress a wii iso to 1mb, its just not going to happen. If it was that simple, everyone would be doing it.

KGB archiver can normally compress better that zip/rar, but requires faster CPU and more RAM, and it pretty slow.

A scrubbed and compressed copy of Twilight princess is 1.18GB (PAL) or 1.36GB (NTSC).

but wait, maybe its compressed with KGB then compressed with another file, cause it says here after decompression the fikle will reach around 1.4GB. But the site I downloaded it from says it would reach 6GB, so maybe it will decompress twice, like a bag in a bag, know what I mean?
again, I am very sorry, to be a handful to every person in this site that has to explain to me that Wii derives from We, but is my theory possible?

you can kgb archive a zipped rar file as many times as you want, but you cannot shrink it to nothing, its not possible. Nothing can reduce that 1.38gb file to 1mb.
