Rawdump can't find LG Drive
First time poster - great forum - wish I'd found it 12 months ago.
I've been using Rawdump very successfully for 12months now. However a couple of days ago I bought a new pc and moved my LG GDR8163B drive into it plus my Asus DRW-20B1LT drive. These two joined the LG DVDRAM GH22NS50 drive.
I use Rawdump and burn to disc as my little kids attack the Wii (force feed things into it) and I don't want to use a USB external drive till they get bigger.
The problem I've now found though is that Rawdump will recognise the LG GH22 drive plus it shows up the ASUS DRW twice! but not the 8163B!
I've spent two days on this looking for an answer, so if anyone can point me in the right direction, that would be appreciated.
Intel Core I5
800gb SATA WDC Hdd
Gigabyte GA-P55-UD3 mobo
Drive 1 - LG GH22NS50
Drive 2 - Asus DRW-20B1LT
Drive 3 - LG 8163B
Windows 7 Ultimate
All updates in that I can find.
Anyhelp would be appreciated.

Hi Not sure if this will help, but, when you put the drives in ,have you set the jumpers on the back of dvd drives eg,Master/Slave etc ,?

I just started having the same problem with a new build...any luck with solving this problem?
I tried the drive in an older system and it works fine but would love to get it in my new one...

Halfway similar problem... my new build using an older ABIT motherboard and brand new Lenovo laptop one using 32bit, Win7 ultimate and the lenovo home prem. it installs and shows, internal and external, the drive but won't read ANY disc (8162B and 8164B) put them in the original system running 32bit, XP pro from years ago and they work fine. first troubleshoot look on mine is gonna be the Win versions, or maybe running virtual XP, on the abit Win7 box, and see how it goes, but i've been pretty lazy. will let you know if it changes anything for what its worth.
