your disc failed during the "verify" section, not the burn section.

switch verify off and try burning again as your error is an unrecoverablr read error, it "may" and i do mean "may" work

My friend had a similar problem with an LG writer. He was burning dvd films but when he was watching them they were stopping around 3 quaters the way through.

The next few he burned he told imageburn to verify and they failed. It turned out to be his writer. He bought a new one and has had no problems since.

Try cleaning the burner with a cd cleaner. Most writers are positioned directly infron of the power supply and the fan drags crap through the burner.

Only if you would like to now you have a good burn.

No, the burning will be the same regardless of verification. Verifying compares the hash check of your iso to your burned dvd to ensure they are 100% readable and identical. But if you don't verify, the burn is still the same as if you do.
