It works! I'll try to explain it the best way I can. I'm using Resident Evil 4 in this example.

      1. Install disc 1 with DMToolbox 0.3 or higher. You should have a folder with a file named game.iso
      2. Install disc 2 with DMToolbox 0.3 or higher. You should have a folder with a file named disc2.iso
      3. Copy the disc2.iso file and paste it in the disc 1 folder. You should have something similar to this:

      Attachment 4254

      4. GX will load disc 1 by default and automatically load disc 2 when prompted.

      Hope this little guide works!

(Sorry the picture is so small. If someone can tell me how to make it bigger, I'll do so right away).

We still need to use DiscEX to get the right files/folder layout though, right? DMToolbox doesn't make a sys folder, which I was made to believe was required for things to run properly, and DMToolbox is a better version of GCMutility?

Use R1205_IOS222-249-250.7z It has new HBC and latest DIOS MIOS 2 disc support or Use the latest DMToolBox (0.3 or higher) to install your two disc games.
I did not use GX to install the 2 disc yet, so I'm not sure....
Sorry for noobness... how / where do I install the files within that .rar file?

Replace the boot.dol in your SD /apps/ usbloader_gx with the updated one(r1205_IOS249).

New way is DMToolbox 0.3 or higher. Old way was DiscEX, you do not need the sys folder.

Well I feel like a mook. So the compress function is the same thing as GCMutility's shrink mode then? I don't suppose there is any harm in running a game I've already run through DiscEX and GCMutility through DMToolbox so everything is up to snuff?

Just ran GCM on something already compressed with DMToolbox and is shaved a little bit more off the top... but I'm not so sure that's a good thing.

I always select RAW (1:1 copy) it's not compressed or extracted and it works perfect with DM 2.6 and all the latest USB Loaders.
I do not use GCM because space is not an issue.

I have issues with running GC games on CFG USB Loader. I've updated all ios's and the syscheck is fine. My USB HDD works for Wii games, is compatible and have worked for Wii games flawlessly the past 2 years.
Now I wanted to add the GC from USB functionality and installed Dios Mios 2.2 (first tried 2.6). But after Dios Mios splash I get a black screen, my iso I'm using is md5'd correct down to the last digit and my USB loader is updated to the very latest version.
I've run out of ideas of what to do to make this work.

      DarkSim,
Verify that your HDD is using 32KB cluster size or less, use Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced : right click your disk/change cluster size/current cluster size: I use Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced on three HDD to change it from 64KB to 32KB and I did not lose any data. (I ONLY RECOMMEND ACRONIS BECAUSE NO DATA LOSS)If you use any other HDD program you will have to backup everything before you change the cluster size.

I used EaseUS and yes it's 32kb clustersize FAT32 first active primary, you name it.

EaseUS always set it to FAT32 with 64kb cluster size.

Did you Install DIOS MIOS 2.6 with Wad Manager 1.7 and use IOS236 ?

But I manually set it to use 32kb... Oh. Now I have to check all that again
      Attachment 4256

So, just to be perfectly clear, what do you mean with "use IOS236"?

      Please use the Edit function.

It say's your first data sector is 64kb I can't tell with that picture only with Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced.
With Wad Manager 1.7 Use IOS236 to install the DM2.6 wad

Installed DM2.6 using IOS236, still black screen after DIOS MIOS splash

Most applications that format drives automatically set it to 64kb, even if you tell it to do 32kb. A simple double check will make sure it's right. I will be back in 2 hrs.

I changed the cluster size without reformatting the drive, now the games work. Thank you so very much. Been sitting with this problem for days!
Sadly my Zelda Collectors Edition can't load up Majoras Mask anyway. But now I can finally play F-Zero again

      Thank you so very much!

Question: Anybody knows why Resident Evil (remake) isn't working for me? It used to run perfectly with 2.2 but it stopped working with 2.3, 2.4, 2.5 and 2.6. I'm using USB Loader GX 3.0 r1205 and yes, my HDD is formatted in FAT32 with 32kb cluster size. All of my other games work flawlessly but this one.

Huh, kinda odd that you can't get the game to load up Majoras Mask, works fine for me, maybe try it with a disc in the drive ?

It's possible that some games could lose compatibility across versions, I'd suggest re-ripping the game to make sure it's not just the copy you're trying to use.

Maybe that game was set to use 2.2, try removing the CFG file in GX and see if it works or try wiiflow v4.0.5

Hi this sort of helped me but when it comes to install DiosMios 2.6 It doesnt work and on USB GX it tells me to copy to SD Card, also it takes away the ability to play legit gamecubes games from disk and stays on black screen so I then installed mios-V10 to be able to play Gamecube games from retail disks. The USBLoader I installed is V3.0. Here are my system info, please help I dont know what to do now???
