    DIOS MIOS v2.0 has been released by Crediar. DIOS MIOS allows you to run Gamecube games from an USB device on your Wii. This new versions allows the loading of GC games through USB. Not to be confused with DIOS MIOS Lite (DML).

      I remember reading countless times in forums that gc usb loader would never exist becuase the gc never had a usb slot,i guess humans can do anything.

      Yup, the Wii is now a (near) perfect gaming machine....we just need stable N64 emulation now.

      So I think I've tied myself into somewhat of a conundrum. At this point I am willing to take any down-talking and or abuse to get this resolved. I have attached both an image of my current wii configuration and a text dump of my SD to try to make this as concise as possible.

      I think I'm just confused and I'm not sure where. Anyone that can help me sort out the mess I would really appreciate it. For starters. I can't really "verify" that my cIOS236 has ever installed. I have installed it several times... or at least I think I have. Then I tried running the Dios Mios v 2.2 installer. Not only do I not see Dios Mios as an app on my SD Card, I can't even truly tell you how to run Dios Mios. Secondly, I have formatted my drive to FAT32 cluster 32kb, and all the loaders on my SD card are asking me to create a WBFS partition. I finally got "Configurable USB Loader" to at least mount the drive and I have Resident Evil 0 disc 1 loaded within a "games" folder both as a *.gcm and a DISC EX compressed games2.iso and I can't see either image from within "Configurable USB Loader" (Yes I own and have purchased this game). Last but not least I had (at one point) a USB loader called "Uloader" and I copied the modified "meta.xml" over the original for the "Custom ios224 load" and it would never launch as it kept looking for the load within ios222 or ios223.

      I feel like I've hit the "subconscious" level of this modding (Inception reference) and I can't find my way back out... I'm getting old... and I'm getting tired.

      I guess the most important things I would need help with at this point is, if any one can look at my text dump and tell me what I no longer need on my SD Card. Second from the image,Attachment 4157 if I need to change and or modify my ios*** loads from where they are currently configured. Any help again would be appreciated.

      Somewhat but they're still a lot of games that are buggy (GoldenEye 007 sadly is one of them)

      New USB loaders needs updated cIOS, which then loads DM, this is why you should always try dios-mios-booter r30 first because it does not need cios
      update to CFG Loader r48 or wiiflow v4.0.1 r431or USB Loader GX R1200,Replace the boot.dol in your SD or USB /apps/ usbloader_gx with the updated one.( r1200_IOS249)
      Use DMToolbox v0.1a to convert or install your games to a SD/USB device
      You will not see Dios Mios in your apps. Try your USB Loaders from HBC first, you could try from USB Loader channels if you have forwarder.wad channels install.
      USB / games / GBZE08 / game.iso (and DIOS MIOS will load it fine from your USB Loader)
      GC games in "games" folder
      WII games in "wbfs" folder
      Install USB Loader GX -UNEO_Forwarder Channel 5_1_AHBPROT.wad for USB Loader GX channel

      Hey, guys! I've been using Dios Mios 2.2 to play Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventures and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (both are listed under that version in the compatability list). Now, after getting near the end of Chapter 6 in FE, the game froze so I rebooted. Now, I can barely even start the chapter, or sometimes even the game without it either saying "An error has occurred." or just plain freezing up!

      Can anyone help me fix this, at all? I'm running Dios Mios 2.2 with USB Loader GX rev1198. I don't think I have any settings changed since I didn't think I needed to. Any ideas? I'm willing to change my versions or whatever, if it helps me run the game. Thank you for your input!

      PS) By the way, I'm using System Menu 4.3U, iirc.

      Upgrade USB Loader GX to r1200 then double check your settings to make sure they're correct. If that doesn't work then try re-ripping the disc.

      Ok, I'll try that out and let you know how it went. Where do you find the revs, anyway? I usually have to get lucky to find a link any of them, since Google hasn't helped me as much as usual...

      Ok, I tried it out with the r1200, but it did the exact same thing as r1198. I can't even really start the game anymore.

      Did you replace the game like he said, and check or remove the previous game settings.
      Sometimes the game, game save or USB Loader app could get corrupt this is why I always use the
      Shortcut functions:
      R, Z, Start: reboot Wii
      R, Z, down d-pad, B: Shutdown Wii
      sometimes when you update USB Loader GX, you have to remove the GXGameSettings.GFG file in usbloader_gx app because it was set to use the old USB Loader GX or you have to check your settings to make sure they're correct.

      I'll be sure to do this in the future, and try to keep the Shortcut Functions in mind. Does it make a difference if I use them or not?

      Anyway, I completely re-did the entire Dios Mios and USB Loader GX and EVERYTHING from scratch. Uninstalled both, re-did the flash drive holding the games, and followed the guide all over again. I dunno why, but it allowed it to work.

      Using the Shortcut Functions helps. Usually you do not need to uninstall Dios Mios or redo the HDD. You only have to replace the game or USB Loader app with a new one.

      Ok, so it helps it work better or something? I redid USB Loader GX and it didn't work, but I didn't try to redo the game (I thought I deleted the iso and the downloads were suddenly taking ages to get). Found where I put it, so I'll try that if it happens again!

      It only takes CleanRip 9 minutes to rip a game, that's not too long.

      I have to get an iso from online though. If I knew where my Path of Radiance disk was, I wouldn't be using Dios Mios for it. ^^;; Don't worry, I do own a copy of the game! It just became a ninja and disappeared...

      I have finally got my Gamecube Memory card. It is not made by Nintendo, but it has 2X128MB slots, which totals to 4086 Blocks.

      I have been using NMM for the games I have, so I want to quit using NMM because it doesn't work for all games (FIFA Soccer 2002) and 4086 Blocks sound like a lot of space to use. I want to transfer whatever progress I made on NMM to the Gamecube card. I've downloaded GCMM 1.3 and gci2nmm v0.1b but I've no idea what to do.

      Question Answer: Yes I was able to play Wii games just fine. This was with WBFS partition though. I was using WBFS and Neogamma 8x something. I had just finished RE4 (for the first time) and I thought since I was already in the GameCube era that I may as well knock out RE0. Then I started thinking instead of jacking with the two discs why don't I just see if I can load it off of this same hdd. When I came onto the forums is when I saw that in order to play GCM's you had to have a Fat32 32kb cluster format. So I formatted that same drive and have yet to be able to load anything from the new Partition.

      Update: I downloaded and loaded everything you suggested. I started out by replacing the *.dol(s) in the various programs like WiiFlow and WadManager. Getting the Wad Manager up to 1.7, and WiiFlow up to 4.0.2. I also downloaded the Dios Mios BootLoader. I installed the *.wad from the full zip using Wad Manager 1.7 and I still don't have an app to launch from within my HBC as I thought there would be. Maybe I'm still missing something? You have said that I wouldn't see Dios Mios in my apps. So I went back to the NeoGamma and CFGUSB from within the HBC and they still cannot see the partition. NeoGamma is still looking for a WBFS partition. Seems like CFGUSB is able to at least mount the drive but unable to see any of the images I have loaded on the drive, which is only RE0. I have RE0 in a "games" folder and it is currently labled games2.iso. I was reading some of the other posts about a naming convention that the games have to have... but figured I wasn't that close to worry about the naming convention.

      Last but not least I noticed that my Wii is still on 4.1. Do I need to upgrade to 4.3 whatever in order to get these newer mods to work? Just trying to think outside the box. I think there are still some dots or something that I'm not connecting. Any other advice you have is still appreciated. Thanks in advanced.
