    DIOS MIOS v2.0 has been released by Crediar. DIOS MIOS allows you to run Gamecube games from an USB device on your Wii. This new versions allows the loading of GC games through USB. Not to be confused with DIOS MIOS Lite (DML).

      That's the wrong one, you need to get r1200 or r1201 (stay away from 1202 for now, it is giving a lot of issues from what I have read on the beta test log)

      So i put this R1200_IOS222-249-250.7z into my apps folder and loaded it up. But my wii still just either shuts off or black screens when i load windwaker.
      Edit: oh and i'm using the ios249 one.

      are you using wad manager 1.7? i had the same issue until i used it to install dios mios 2.3. Try again, (dont uninstall), also try installing it with IOS249, or 250. (i have no idea if this works, things i tried when i was going through the same deal)

      also make sure your video settings are set to System Default

      Well I went back onto my wii and checked to make sure that my video settings were default and they were. And tried loading up WW one more time and it worked for some reason.

      OMG so I play games but I can't save! This is so frustrating!!!

      You can try turning on NMM in the global settings, but i was encountering a lot of problems with it (some games wouldnt load, some wouldnt recognize it, some saved and made it corrupt) so i went out and bought a five dollar gc card from gamestop.

      It is extremely frustrating. A lof of manual resets. (i suggest putting your wii on your desk) It took me like 6 days from page 100 - 112 or so. Its a headache, but you will get it. And i figured if i have to spend 5 dollars to run my backups, i can live with that

      Oh sorry, WW is legend of zelda: wind waker. I believe those are on, I'll have to check though. But I might just give in a buy a real mem card as well.

      Just a guess but I assume WW = Zelda Wind Waker.

      And anyway a memory card is worth the price to remove the hassle of NMM. I too have had the NMM saves corrupt.

      true dat - i just make sure the setting is off and run with my mem card. I do wanna thank you and Candy for helping me out though. I will pass down your knowledge to the next individual who wants to judo kick their wii.

      has anyone figured out what the change log is for dios mios 2.3 i'm interested in knowing before i update...seams to work good for me now and don't want to break it lol

      No changelog yet, I notice no difference between 2.2 ad 2.3...

      anyone know how to make it so 2 discs show up under the same box in the loader page. (i have tales of symponia, 2 discs, shows up as 2 different games with 2 different boxes on my loader screen, any way to make that one?)

      2.3 seemed to load the iso a little faster for me. other than that i notice nothing. But it does work you dont have to worry about it not working.

      Oh I know it works, I tried it out. I personally noticed no difference between 2.2 and 2.3 though.

      Now this was annoying...
      Installed dios mios 2.2 a few days back. But since I had an old CFG loader, I couldent see the GC games. So I updated to v70, and I could play the games.
      Today on the other hand I cant play any gamecube game, black screen...

      Edit: Deleted CFG loader from HDD and installed it again latest version 70r48. And suddenly it works again... Strange...

      Sometimes the game, game save or USB Loader app could get corrupt this is why I always use the
      Shortcut functions:
      R, Z, Start: reboot Wii
      R, Z, down d-pad, B: Shutdown Wii
      This works fine for WiiFlow but you need to set GC Pad Hook to ON in USB Loader GX

      Thanks. So by using this instead of holding the power button when done with a GC game, its less chance to corrupt the program?
      But does it work with CFG loader which I use?

      I have 2 issues:

      1: I am trying to play Tales of Symphonia Disc 2 through Dios Mios (I lost my retail copy). I have a Tales of Symphonia Disc 1 save. When I try to start a new game or load the Disc 1 save, I get a Gamecube error. Is that what is normal when you try to do that? My plan is to play through Disc 1, then transfer my save to Dolphin, then save on Disc 2 then play my game on Wii using Dios Mios.

      2: I have both Disc 1 and Disc 2 in my games folder in my USB, yet for some reason, I see 2 games, both of them are Disc 2. Is this an issue with naming or what?

      You should search for your retail discs and rip them with CleanRip.

      DIOS MIOS is not capable of swapping discs.
