I haven't been thoroughly following your issue so forgive me if this has been asked, are you loading via HBC or a Forwarder channel?

Have you tried a different USB device? That should rule out whether its the game or the drive/program.

New USB loaders needs updated cIOS, which then loads DM, this is why you should always try dios-mios-booter r30 first because it does not need cios
Maybe your cIOS is outdated, guide-how-run-post-system-check.html
      d2x-cios-installation-guide.html
If you get a $5.00 usb flash drive you could put some GC games on it and see if it works.
      What do you think SNES_Master?

      diosmios/wiki/FAQ

Hope you're not using the lite version because it is only for SD card, you would have to put your GC games on the SD card. Only use DM2.2 from Jul 20 for USB.

Yeah, I'd say say a little flash-stick would be an easier quicker way of finding out if its a drive problem or system problem. He can probably pick up a 4-8gb SanDisc for around $10 now.

It'll have to be at least 2gb to fit a GC game, all GC games are 1.35gb uncompressed (I recommend uncompressed whenever possible, some games refuse to work compressed...plus if you run Devolution in conjunction with DM as I do, Devo requires full 1:1 copies so it's a good idea anyway)

Sounds like it may be an IOS issue, you may want to consider re-modding your Wii.

Look here on Wiihacks for "Softmod ANY Wii"

Go through from start to end without skipping anything at all and let us know if the issues you're having still occur.

No need to remove your current mod, the new one will just overwrite it.

okay. ive completely remodded. i have the dios mios rar file extracted to my sd. (the wad itself in wad folder, the source folder in sd root, is that right?) i installed the wad succesfully. I go into usbloadergx, the game appears, but when i click on it i only have the option to copy to sd, show sd or cancel.

in cfg i am able to hit start but it copies to my sd...i will run Dios Mios booter, see what happens

EDIT** ran dios mios booter straight from HBC. wii shuts off after dios mios sign

Hope you're not using the lite version because it is only for SD card, you would have to put your GC games on the SD card. Only use DM2.2 from Jul 20 for USB.

What version USB Loaders? CFG Loader r48 or wiiflow v4.0.1 r431orUSB Loader GX r1202,Replace the boot.dol in your SD or USB /apps/ usbloader_gx with the updated one.
Are your USB Loader channels forwarders? And your games are now in USB1, 32kb, primary and active?

should i copy the iso straight over? or should i be using DiscEx. ive been using discex. If i copy the Iso straight over where does it go? does it need to be in a folder like what is created using Discex?

Since you were unable to uninstall Dios Mios Lite. To make it a clean install rather than install over it, I recommend that you
      Re-install the original mIOS file:
