      usb/games/GLZE01/game.iso

I want the files to say the game name in the title
but when I put the folders to say
      usb/games/Legend of zelda[GLZE01]/game.iso
      or
      usb/games/GLZE01[Legend of zelda]/game.iso
it will show the game twice on usb loader gx.

And on another note are there any sites like wiiboxart.com for GC games?

its box art... not isos... they have a forum dedicated to the wii box art.
I'm pretty sure you have to leave the folders named as USB\Games\gameID\game.iso

As for downloading the box art just press 1 and USB Loader GX can DL them for you via GameTDB.com. If for some reason your USB Loader doesn't want to connect to it you can use GameTDB.com on your computer and move the images to your SD card.

It is better to have wii games and GC games on the same USB. Just put the wii games in the wbfs folder on your FAT32 USB. you could use CleanRip or any USB Loader to make a backup of your wii game or Use WiiBackupManager to add the file and transfer the wbfs file to the wbfs folder on the FAT32 USB
      for example:
      FAT32 USB/wbfs/Just Dance 3 [SJDE41]/SJDE41.wbfs

Okay, so I'm at a lose and did reading but didn't find anything that helpful. I have the newest USB Loader GX and v2.2 Dios Mios. I have my GC games showing up in USB Loader GX but when I go to play them it asks me to copy them to my SD Card (trying to play off my HDD). I can either Copy to SD, look at my SD or cancel. Even when I do choose to copy it, and it finishes then I launch the game, it returns to the Wii home screen.. any help will be amazing!

if USB Loader GX channel ask to copy to SD, uninstall the channel wad and install the forwarder wad
"USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder_5_1_AHBPROT wad" this works with DIOS MIOS 2.2 and USB Loader GX v3.0 r1200
or try it in the homebrew channel
      USB Loader GX.

I actually got it working now Candy, thank you. Last question, how can I set it up to save to my USB drive? I tried to set it for NMM which I thought was the option but then i get black screened. Turning NMM off it loads fine but then reminds me I have no memory card in slot A.

NMM only works with some games and it save to USB, you may need a memory card to save some games

"NMM (No More Memory) - This is the game save redirection feature which uses the usb drive instead of a GameCube memory card. Should you enable this feature, remember to take your memory cards out of the GameCube slots. Keep in mind that not all games will work with this patching."

here is a list of some games that work with NMM

Hiya, I've been having the same problem and came across this thread. I tried all of the above, I also tried using just a forwarder instead of full channel, or just uninstalling channel, Downloaded newest .dol right before posting this to make sure it was up do date. I am still getting the copy to sd card problem.

Have you changed the custom path, the main path needs to be set to USB instead of SD.

go in your SD/apps folder/usbloader_gx and remove GXGameSettings.GFG then go to the USB Loader GX channel set it to default settings, then change the custom Paths to USB1, GC games only works from USB1, 1ST partition, if your hard drive is one partition, FAT32, perfect, if it is not one partition let me know.

IF you have two or more partition:
if you have 64KB cluster use Acronis to change the cluster to 32KB cluster. I also had a NTFS drive which work prefect with wii backup but not GC backup so I made a fat32 partition, but it was partition 2, so to change it to partition 1, I had to change both partition to logical and then change the fat32 to primary 1st plus active and then the NTFS to primary so the fat was 1st partition and the NTFS was 2nd partition

if this does not work for you , you could try another USB Loader from the homebrew channel with DIOS MIOS 2.2

      Here: Wiiflow_Mod_svn_r607.zip

WiiFlow, CFG Loader, DIOS MIOS Booter

      http://code.google.com/p/diosmios/wiki/Downloads?tm=2

      I use wiiflow r607, CFG Loader 70 r37, DIOS MIOS Booter r30, USB Loader GX 3.0 r1200
with DIOS MIOS 2.2 and all works perfect

okay im having a little issue with my usb stick. cfg usb loader 70MODr41 loads and plays mario cart doubbledash!! perfect however wiiflow r607 and usbloader gx r1200 IOS-259 carnt seem to even find the FAT32 partition. i have tried with both 32 and 16 kilobytes but nothing only "SD" seems to show up. and i have even formatted the usb to FAT with 32 kilobyte and the loaders seem to pick it up and i can even hear the sounds for it but no load! im just wondering why wiiflow and usbloader gx fail to find FAT32 when cfg loader can.

in wiiflow did you click on the gamecube in the bottom right corner and in usbloader gx did you change the custom Paths to USB1 and click on the top to select loader mode and check gamecube

When you say usbloader gx r1200 IOS-259, I'm going to assume you mean 249 (if you really meant 259 then try 249). Anyway you make sure you do as candy said and click the "filter" box and check off GameCube games, they will not display otherwise. If you read through this thread starting at page 1 you'll find many more useful tips.

Wow SNES you've really taken over this thread. I'm not even quick enough to respond to the posts before you do. But I notice that a lot of problems that people are having in the last 10 pages seem to be that they are using the wrong loader or have the wrong settings. I have never gotten the SD issue (where it asks to write to SD) before. What was the cause of that?

Yeah, lol. I think the cause of it asking to copy to SD is one of 3 things: 1) outdated loader 2) outdated forwarder or 3) incompatible HDD (ie settings or just the drive itself). In my case when I was being asked it was a combo of 1 & 3.

As for answering posts quick the updates keep getting pushed to my phone. I could turn off notifications but don't really feel like it lol.

      SNES_Master you are correct it's gx r1200 IOS-249! not 259

okay ill cut to to chase. when i go into usbloader gx this pops up "No WBFS or FAT/NTFS partition found" and for wiiflow "Welcome to wiiflow i have not found any games click install to install games or select partition to select your partition type." I used to be able to chose usb1, usb2 etc prior to updating to the new release of these loaders. It just says "SD" and when i do click on on the game cube thing the same thing happens. i actually have one wii game and one gc game on this usb and cfg usb loader finds and boots them no worries. Im starting to think that my 3.37gb verbatim usbthumb drive isnt supported when Used with wiiflow and usbloader gx with FAT32. but it seems strange concidiring they could find both the wii and gc game when formatted with FAT!

update! I can now boot game cube games through usbloader gx and wiflow I cannot tell you how satisfied i am right now It turns out there was noting wrong with the loaders or settings but a problem with my usb which i had suspected from the beginning. EaseUS Partition Master 9.1.1 Home Edition didn't work for me perhaps because i wasn't using a HDD? I ended up coming across this: "HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool" which essentially is to make a flash drive bootable for computers. Then i reformatted it in mycomputer with FAT32 and 32 clusters. Thanks to those that responded im glad i can sit back and play now with out any dramas!

      Some Shortcut functions:
      R, Z, Start: reboot Wii
      R, Z, down d-pad, B: Shutdown Wii

This works fine for WiiFlow but you need to set GC Pad Hook to ON in USB Loader GX

you should also disable wiiconnect24 in the wii settings, the internet will still work fine.
"WiiConnect24 allows the console to receive downloads even when the
console isn't in active use, as long as it has a working connection
      to the Internet."

always have a backup of all your files on the Sd Card keep it in your computer

you should not have to hold down the power button until it turns red just click on it and the wii should turn off and the button turn red, you have to be careful with your SD card it could get corrupt

      So with:

      Wiiflow_Mod_svn_r607.zip
D2x install from the 'softmod any wii' guide
      Dios Mios 2.2

I put on one game (Legend of Zelda Collector's Disc). When I click on the gamecube icon, it shows up (it's in USB/games). But when I click it, it just instantly flashes back to WiiFlow.

I'm not sure if it's a problem with that game, a problem with my system, or just because I don't have a GC controller - I didn't want to buy one until I was sure I get these working...

Since NMM only works with some games, and there's no hope of classic controller pro support, I'm pretty much going to need to buy a gamecube controller and memory card, right?
