Hmm, I have a few Wii games that use non d2xs so maybe I should get 1209 instead of 1208. I'm currently using 1204 cause of, well, if it ain't broke don't fix it lol.

I just updated my USBloaderGX Rev and now when I run a 2 disc gamecube game it will ask me which game would i like to play Disc 1 or Disc 2. What i understand DIOS MIOS can now play 2 disc games but how do i go about switching disc ? Does it automatically do it or do i have to enable something ?

I've heard one of two things. Either one is wrong, or it depends on the loader:

      1) Pressing eject will load the other disk when needed and continue, or
      2) It will handle it automatically.

I don't own any dual-disk games myself to try, so it's one of those things that you just have to try it and see what it does. If you find out, let us know

It does it automatically.....I'll just add that to the guide, if I didn't have it already.

As soon as it detects the request for the disc switch it does it for you.

i remember this one guy who was having problem loading GC games when usb loader gx is launched via a forwarder channel but works flawlessly using HBC. can anyone point me to that thread? i tried the search bar but can't find any information about that.

i get an error that says "area! app_entry is not within the app loader"

      again thanks to everyone!

EDIT: weird errors, i am able to make it work now. weird.

No need to find that thread, I can tell you the solution. You need to install the latest forwarder

@Snes Master - i already have the latest forwarder and still get the error from time to time. i'm just gonna have to bear with it i guess. new problem, trying to figure out how to load disc 2 as it won't load automatically. here's my usb file structure.

      GAMEID Folder >
      Sys folder >
      game.iso
      disc2.iso

now i am asked to load disc 2, display shows the gamecube console on how to change discs. currently trying figure out a work around.

EDIT: on DM 2.2 does it automatically load the disc 2? or do i have to upgrade to DM 2.6?

EDIT: @llafer Updated to DM 2.6 and it loads automatically when prompted to changed discs.

@SNES_Master both are under the game ids folder. sorry for the confusion. i will try devolution as i just finished RE1 Remake and will be playing RE Zero and Twin Snakes but the NMM feature of USB GX causes problem when saving GC Games.

I don't think disk swapping was possiblt until 2.5. So if you still have 2.2, you should update to 2.6.

I've heard mixed reports. One says it swaps automatically, the other says press eject and it will load the other one. So you'll have to test that out for us and let us know for sure.

2.2? Wow, you're way too outdated for Disc Swapping...upgrade to 2.6 and it will work.

The way you've listed your file structure confuses me a little...are game.iso and disc2.iso inside GameID/sys or just GameID? They should be like this:

      USB/games/gameID/game.iso
      USB/games/gameID/disc2.iso
      USB/games/gameID/sys

Sys should have a few of its own files in it such as the apploader.bin

Check your versions of DM and GX and let us know. I think the latest GX is r1209, so unless you mean 1208, 1508 doesn't make sense. The latest DM is 2.6.

Also, run a syscheck and post the results in a spoiler so we can see it.

Thanks for the guide (I did Not used it yet but it makes me less insecure for to reinstall all these again in other wii.)

Unfortunatelly 2.6 has asychronous audio in Metal Gear Solid cut scenes... Very annoying...

This won't affect anything, but your date is way off on your system.

Your cIOS files are pretty old. You may want to update them to see if that helps. Look at the "Softmod any Wii" guide in my signature and look at installing the ModPack in chapter 2.

And it doesn't state that you have Priiloader installed. You'll want to do that too (won't fix your problem, but will help prevent you from making other stupid mistakes in the future.) That install is near the bottom of chapter 2 of the same guide. Be sure to configure it as indicated in the guide.

Loading from HBC or Forwarder? Also when you updated to 1209 did you make sure to erase your Config files first?

I haven't had audio problems in Metal Gears cut scenes and its not listed as a problem on the compatibility list. What audio issues are you experiencing?

Are you running this from DM and USB? or DML and SD?

If the latter, what class SD card do you have? Lower class cards are slower and may affect audio and pre-rendered cut-scenes.

Are you still using NMM? It is not compatible with all games and may cause issues.
