Actually I had problems making my external hard drive work with USB Loader GX. I was going to assume my external hard drive wasn't compatible, that's until I tried swapping the USB cables with my brother's one.

Just a quick question for you sexy people. Dios Mios will not work with a hard drive using 64kb cluster size, correct?

And since that's what I have, and I would rather not reformat my entire hard drive, any way to create partitions of the available free space without messing around the the data already on it?

      Thanks a bunch!

Creating a new partition will automatically make it the second one. So that will be useless. Try using acronis to reformat your drive without changing the files on it. I haven't used it myself, but just download the free trial and try it. I don't know if EASUS can change cluster size without a drive wipe.

This is from my previous post:
My 1st Wii had a FAT32 with 64KB cluster Hard drive
I did not reformat the Hard drive, I remove the homebrew stuff kept it on the computer and I left the games and movies on the Hard drive, I just use Acronis Disk Director 11 Advanced to change the cluster from 64KB to 32KB cluster it is very quick, you could also use MiniTool Partition Wizard Professional Edition to change the cluster size, I did not lose any data and it is very fast and the games and movies works great

My 2nd Wii had a NTFS drive which work prefect with wii backup but not GC backup so I made a FAT32 partition, but it was partition 2, so to change it to partition 1, I had to change both partition to logical and then change the FAT32 to primary 1st plus active and then the NTFS to primary so the FAT32 is 1st partition and the NTFS is 2nd partition
DIOS MIOS works perfect with both Hard Drive

I Installed MD2.2 and I have some issues here.

With the WiiFlow i can load all my WII and the GC games from the same USB HD.
But when i try to play the GC games I get this message:
" IF YOU ARE SURE YOU WANT TO COPY THIS GAME TO SSD, CLICK Go. (even with no SD installed)".
I tried all recomendations from the guide including installing latest USBLoader_GX_V3_0_AllinOnePackage_IOS249
and tried to load the app. with the HBC - but no luck.

      USB Loader GX problems:

      - "You need to change the settings in USB Loader GX (the game's settings, or the global settings)
from DM (or DML) to DML 2.2."
I do not see this option under settings neither under global or in the games setting.
      - and No GameCube icon in the USB Loader GX screen menu.

There is something I am missing here.
      Can anybody help?

      Thanks in advance

reinstall DIOS MIOS 2.2 wad for USB, not DIOS MIOS Lite for SD

Update to WiiFlow r663 from the Wii or computer. I recommend from the Wii because I update Wiiflow from the Wii and it works perfect.

USB Loader GX r1202 Replace the boot.dol in your SD or USB /apps/ usbloader_gx with the updated one.
      Always use the
USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder_5_1_AHBPROT.wad to install the channel or you will have to load it from HBC, it will be r1202 even if it says another version.
Select loader mode: check GC Games
Loader Settings/ GameCube Mode/ MIOS (Default & Customs)
      For USB Loader GXr1202, go into settings>custom paths, and change the path from SD to USB1:/games/;

      This is optional
      SNES_Master previous post:
"As for the HBC showing USB GX as r1180 when the app says it's r1200 that is because the betas don't include an update to meta.xml. The metal.xml is what contains the information show on HBC after clicking the app. All you need to do is open the meta.xml in a program that can read it (WordPad works but lately I've been using NotePad++) and look for the following tag

      <version>r1180</version>

Change the r1180 to r1200 and next time you look in HBC it should be changed to what you entered."

      Thanks Pob3008.
Where can I download it from?
The list of all available versions on the download site
Downloads - usbloader-gui - USB Loader GX: GUI for Waninkoko´s USB Loader (based on libwiigui) - Google Project Hosting
does not show the rev. #.

      and for my second question:
With the WiiFlow i can load all my WII and the GC games from the same USB HD.
But when i try to play the GC games I get this message:
" IF YOU ARE SURE YOU WANT TO COPY THIS GAME TO SSD, CLICK Go. (even with no SD installed)".

and tried to load the app. with the HBC - but no luck.

      Any ideas?

      Hello Guys

I'm having an issue with DM 2.0 and up. For some reason, games aren't fully filling my screen on all axis. I have black bars on the sides even with 16x9 forced, and I have a black bar on the bottom of my screen at all times. The DM logo fills the screen properly though, so is there a configuration parameter I might be missing, or is it a fault with DM?

What region is your system and what region are your ISOs? Sometimes mismatching game/system region can cause that to happen.

      I'll try.
      but R1202_IOS222-249-250 has tree folders.
Which of the tree should i use to replace the boot.dol?

Well I can't say for the black bar on the bottom, I'm not sure about that. But I know about the ones on the side, mine does that as well. The games seem to only be displayed in 4:3 mode, I suppose switching the TV display into 16:9 display mode in addition to having the Wii and its programs set to display that way should work but I haven't been able to.

I tried and update to WiiFlow r663 but it failed (that was the message).
Then I tried to find a download for WiiFlow r663 and the matching prilloader.
But I am not sure about the version/revision.
      Where should I look?
      Thanks

Just replace the SD / apps / wiiflow with the updated one
NEW LINK (everything is updated I did not try it yet)
      http://code.google.com/p/wiiflow/dow...+DownloadCount
Priiloader dol, Wiiflow v4.0.1 , Wiiflow Forwarder, wiiflow Plugins Pack
the old link wiiflow v3.1 r663 deprecated because there is a new update, maybe why it failed, let us know about the updated wiiflow v4.0.1 r431. I am still using wiiflow v3.1 r663

Update: I try the new Wiiflow v4.0.1 r431 and it works perfect like wiiflow v3.1 r663, will keep it
