• USB Loader GX 3.0

The great USB Loader GX has finally been updated to v3.0. USB Loader GX Version 3.0 introduces a new auto-update mechanism which is not compatible with old versions. (The old host is offline). If you are still using an old version of USB Loader GX, you need to update manually.

I'm annoyed that I have to reapply settings to some of my games to make them run correctly since the old config files don't work, but this seems to be a very nice update. Can't believe it plays GameCube games (according to the change log)!

Try setting the game to load using IOS 222, 223 or 249. I use 223 and it works well but the others work for my other games so you could try those too. If that doesn't help try re-ripping the disc.

This still didn't work [ just took away my settings and start icon when i clicked to start the game ], Should any of my DML be on in loader settings, and what about the gamecube games settings, how should they look? and I'm going to try re-ripping

Oh, oops. I thought you were talking about the Wii Smash Bros lol. I'm actually not sure how to do GC games through USB Loader GX. Sorry.

I am new to this forum and I need help with installing GX Loader. I recently replaced my DVD drive on my WII and it works great. I downloaded the Homebrew channel and it works great. Currently running 4.3U.
I downloaded GX 3.0 and tried to install it on my system. I get an error message when installing telling me I need IOS 228 to install it. Then the program opens and everything is fine except it doesn't recognize my USB drive. I formatted my drive to WBFS.
The purpose of this download is to create a video game library for all my WII games I have purchased in the last 3 years. I have around 100 games. I am using a Western Digital 750g 2.0 USB drive.
      Can someone help?

You probably haven't fully hacked your Wii yet. Follow the Softmod ANY Wii guide. It will give you everything you need to do what you are trying to do, plus give you brick protection.

I tried following the guide and everything was fine until I tried to verify the sums. I got all several errors. Tried everything to fix but I continued to get errors. I gave up on it and did WII MOD for Windows. It installed without a error. I highly recommend it. Anyone reading this and thinking about modifying their WII, use WII MOD for windows. great program!!!
