Hopefully, this good changes will soon be integrated to the official loader, similar to Wiiflow. DIOS MIOS Lite is GC games SD Loader. You will be able to launch GC games from SD using this mod. I was wondering if other people were experiencing more compatibility issues with these recent releases (from r28 on) than there were in r27. I got at least some functionality out of games like Tomb Raider Legend and the Legend of Zelda Collectors Edition where now I get a disc read error. fiddled with the settings to no avail. D29x v8, dml rev 58. thing is that r27 worked mostly flawlessly (or at least as well as dml is supposed to work).
      anyone else experiencing problems?

I haven't tried it yet because I have yet to install the wad to get DML working. I've been waiting until there is word that it works with a external drive since my 32GB card is all used up.

Is DML ever going to run through a USB Drive or is it impossible?

(In the mean time I am still backing them up through CFG in hopes that one day...)

i use an external hard drive for my Wii games formatted to fat32 and it works pretty well
i use d2x v8final and most game cube games i play work (only unsuccessful one so far is metroid prime)
After r27 all my game cube games did stop working so i did switch back to it.
i hope they can make gamecube games load from usb in the future so i can use my bigger external instead of a small sd

I was hoping someone point to the right area or explain how to make CFG (Configurable USB Loader) the WII menu. Basically everytime I finish playing a game I don't want to exit CFG, go to the wii menu, and load up the CFG channel to pick another game. I just want to have the CFG channel load up when I exit from a game and/or load up everytime I start my WII. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for assistances. FYI, I am using a portable hard drive with WBFS partition.

Download THIS and extract it directly to the root of your sd card. Launch priiloader and select Load/Install File. Install the boot.dol you just put on your sd card. Now go to settings, and change autoboot to file, and return to autoboot. You Wii will now boot and return to CFG. If you ever have to access the system menu again launch priiloader, wait a few seconds, then quickly press the reset button.

fixed my compatibility issues by upgrading to the newest dml 1.4b and the newest cfg r34. couldn't get dml r58 to work with cfg r34 and couldn't get dml 1.4 to work with cfg r27, but newest dml and newest cfg work just fine together, so not a problem.

does anyone know if cfg is going to start supporting the plugins that wiiflow has recently begun supporting? I'm talking about the fceugx, vbagx and scumm plugins.

May I know, have anyone tested this with the game "The adventure of Tin Tin"? Does it work?

If youdownloaded r34, it's about 8 months old. The latest is r51. If you have it, great. If you still need it, you can get it from the link in my signature.

To install it, find the "boot.dol" file in your sd:/apps/usbloader directory and rename it to something else. Then place the .dol file that you downloaded in that same directory and name it "boot.dol".

Alternately, if you have a prior MOD Beta version installed, you can update the app from within itself to current.

Since this thread is old, I'm closing it. If you still have questions, start a new thread in Newbie section or find a related guide and reply to that.
