Is your SD card formatted as NTFS? The Wii only accepts (officially) FAT filesystems, like FAT16 or FAT32. Make sure your card is formatted as FAT32.

Hey I had a wii that i sofmodded before and sold, i got a new one, but it's the black new smb bundle so the remote stops working when I try to install ios236. i was able to get an updated priiloader to run with it, but nothing else in the bundle besides the homebrew channel seems to work with this stupid wii remote. any chance of getting updated ios installers so i can play my backups on my usb drive and hopefully load priiloader on to the wii, etc. I could be way off base, but I usually start this after work, as i work backshift, im usually exhausted.

you can use the latest version of "wiimod" to install the WADs in ModMii's install WADs step instead of using MMM. WiiMod supports new wiimotes. Alternatively u can just follow your guide like normal and use MMM but use a classic wiimote or gamecube controller.

You didn't JUST save ModMii to your sd card and expect it to work right? I'm assuming you actually ran it on Windows and followed your custom guide?

Hi there! I just downloaded a SNEEK (what do I call it), er, copy from ModMii 6.1.4 (neek2o 80, System Menu 4.1U, DarkWii Green theme (Fast Spin), default serial no, Mii Channel), now what do I do with it? Thanks!

when ModMii was finished you would have seen some onscreen tips. But basically copy the files to your sd card if you haven't already, then start the HBC, start MMM, install the neek2o (aka nswitch) WAD\channel. Exit to the system menu, start the new channel that was just installed and neek will load. Note that on first boot of a fresh emulated NAND it could take 5-20 minutes to boot the main menu, but subsequent usage will be much quicker.

I did it myself there. Except, my method was different:
First, I copied the files to the SD card (obvious :P)
Then, I renamed BootMiiNeek to BootMii
Then I put the card in my Wii and went to HBC>Home>Launch Bootmii
Took me 10 minutes on the first boot, works fine now. Thanks for the help, though!

My wii was already softmodded using "mauifrog's softmod any wii", so can i use modmii now to update my wii with the latest softmod there is available and if modmii ask what my current system menu version should I therefore enter the modified System Menu 4.1 v544** installed by mauifrogs guide.

Yes, you can use ModMii to resoftmod your Wii. In order for ModMii to reinstall the standard 4.1 system menu (i.e. version # not changed) you can tell ModMii your Wii is currently on 3.x instead of 4.1 (perfectly safe for you to do so). If you tell ModMii it's already on 4.1, it will not get you to install a new system menu (i.e. leave the current one installed) and it will cause problems when you're trying to enable priiloader system menu hacks with the hacks_hash.ini file that comes standard with priiloader\modmii. Mauifrog's softmod tutorial includes modified hacks_hash.ini for the system menu's with increased version #'s that come with his softmod. If you decide to leave SM 4.1 v544** installed, you'll need the hacks_hash.ini file that came from mauifrog's guide in order apply system menu hacks.

So basically if you want a hassle-free ModMii experience, just tell ModMii your Wii is on 3.x. Otherwise if you tell it you're on 4.1 you'll need to replace the hacks_hash.ini that comes with ModMii with the one from mauifrog's guide otherwise applying system menu hacks to your SM 4.1 v544** will be problematic.

Bug only affected users running ModMii portably (i.e. not installed to C on a PC that had previously run an older version of ModMii (v6.0.2 or older) to also build a System Menu theme. Thanks to Etheboss for reporting the bug.
  
• Some changes made to address the rare ModMii Skin progress bar bug where it would freeze at 100%. The bug was only reported by two users but they were not able to test these changes.

just confirmed its working for me. The files you're having issues with are ninty files, but just the ninty files that ModMii patches. Try disabling your antivirus while modmii is running and see if it works then

Thanks for the quick reply and support XFlak! I tried running it at home (I was traveling before) and it appears it downloaded all files successfully.

It might have been the AV on the machine or some FW issue or something, but nonetheless, I got it to download everything successfully at home.

I'll move ahead with the guide..........

XFlak, great program you have. Awesome being able to find everything easily with one program instead of looking around for random files and tutorials on how to do every step. The guide made it freaking easy. The hardest part I had was finding an old wii remote w/o the motionplus.

hi guys,
hoping someone can help me,
i have the above mentioned drive and cant get it to work properly,
i used modmii to mod my wii and love it but cant get the drive to work properly using cfg,
everytime i try to use it cfg just crashes at boot screen,
if i leave the drive plugged out and then plug it in when cfg asks it works perfectly,
i have read over and read over but cant figure it out,
any help would be massively appreciated guys
