      Subtitles issues
Be sure that subtitles are enabled (under Settings > Subtitles > Visibility). You may need to change the codepage (under Settings > Subtitles > Codepage) to the one appropriate for the language. If one codepage does not work, try another. Additionally, if the subtitle language does not use a Latin alphabet, you need to replace ‘subfont.ttf’ contained in ‘apps/wiimc’ with a font file that supports the language. Finally, try switching subtitle tracks by using the UP button while playing a video.

mp4's don't play properly still. it either crashes or will play in slow-ish motion but sound plays fine. these same mp4's play perfectly fine on mplayerce. so for the time being will use mplayer for mp4's and wiimc for everything else.

Better that 1.22. At least it doesn't crash via the Channel anymore.

I watch Young Justice in 720p and it plays flawlessly. It can handle some things in 720p (albeit downscaled to 480p) but not all.

Iv been having problems with mp4 movies for a while. They seem to get whery quickly out of sync if there is a little movement on the screen, and stays out of sync for a while.
Heard about an older prog called mplayer ce so tried that, and strangely that was mutch better on mp4 with no lag and problems. But since I know wiimc is newer and better, I must have some settings wrong. Any idea?

Hi maybe the 4.2 firmware can't handle the 720p

Well I've tried to soft mod from a softmoded 4.2 to 4.3 everything goes fine, but still saying 4.2...

      Thanks.
As of the new version, this is no longer a problem. The current version of the loader works fine with v1.2.3. Out of curiosity, I;d love to know what was up with it...

      1.2.6 Nice!
How does this work with mp4 and x264 and the sync problems? Iv been using wiimc for most files, but for some of these I use Mplayer CE since its more in sync.

Still has issues, no improvement on x264 sync problems as far as I can tell

I tried to install WiiMC v1.2.7. After loading WiiMC from HBC, I encountered an error message "Error saving file!". When I clicked Retry, "Error creating file!". Lastly, when I cancelled the operation, it says "Could not save settings to sd1:/apps/wiimc/setings.xml". I tried the old version of WiiMC too and still didn't worked. I also tried another SD card, still no luck. Any ideas why it didn't worked? Is it compatibility issues?
