    There is a new update available for the Nintendo 3DS available, v3.0.0-6. This update does NOT blocks flashcard and it seems it's another update to add some stability improvements.

    3.0.0-6 Update Changes

    • System stability improvements and other adjustments*Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.


    Features Added in 3.0.0-5:

    3D Video Recording
    • 3D Stop motion/timelapse recording
    • Enhancements to Streetpass including Find Mii II / Streetpass Quest II and new puzzle swap panels
    • Ability to download limited time demos for retail 3DS games from the eshop
    • You can now purchase Downloadable content for games
    • Ability to download files while in sleep mode
    • Software can now be transferred between multiple 3DS systems
    • Accomplishments (Nintendo's "achievements", limited to Streetpass Mii Plaza for now but will likely expand)
    • QR Code function improvements
    • Improved online
    • Nintendo Zone
    • Improved system security

      need help 3ds 3.0.0-6u flash cart r4i3ds 1.51b kernel giving me error that says(an error has occurred press and hold the power button to turn the system offplease refer to the operations manual) need to no if their is a work around like flash the r4i3ds or other methods or a tutorial looking all over web but nothing Thanks

      Updated my son's 3ds to 3.0.0-6u, and now the black error screen with his R43D . I've tried updating with every kernel on the web (it feels like lol), reformatting card using sdformatter between every attempt, bought the card from r4idsn.com and have verified it is a legit card from multiple online sources and it was working 100% immediately before the update, and now black screen. The card works fine in my daughter's dsi xl. Anyone have any ideas?

      So i just got a 3DS (Cosmo Black!!!!!!) and ordered an "R4i-SDHC 3DS" for it. My 3DS is on v3.0.0-6. How much trouble am I looking at here?

      Hello, is there any way to update r4isdhc to 3DS 3.0.0.5 without another 3DS or DSi/Lite ? I have got R4i from my girlfriend on Christmas but i really don't have any other DS to update it. Maybe some emulator on PC ?

      I have just bought the ice white 3ds and it has 3.0.0.6E on it, and i get the error message from my r4i card. my wifes pink and my daughters blue one both works. Am running the new kernal.

      It keeps asking me to turn it off..

      please help.

      What kind of R4 card are you trying to use? There are many types of R4 cards. I use R4i 3DS sdhc with V1.51b on 3.0.0.6 and it works great.

      I am using the r4i-gold and their 1.7 version isn't working right now atleast not on mine. But I screwed up and updated 3ds before the card.

      For those of you with 3DS with upgraded firmware (3.0.0-6, etc) who are getting the black screen error (push and hold power button to turn off...), have you actually gone through the process to upgrade your R4i-3DS to the latest version?
      This is not simply a case of copying the files to the SDHC, but also there's a procedure to click upgrade button within the settings of the card's UI, which it seems can only be done on a DS/i/Lite, not a 3DS.
      (a bit old version, but basic idea shown around 4 mins of here R4i SDHC upgrade Method for DSi V1.4.3 and 3DS V2.1.0-4U - YouTube )

      Could it be you copied over the new kernel files but haven't actually done this upgrade procedure, so the 3DS with new firmware is still seeing the old kernel?

      I tried following that but I cant get the card to load. On the blue 3ds it sees it as the new version.. wish I hadnt clicked on the shop for the eurosport thing

      please read what is wrote. It is so simple. You need other 3DS without update (version 2) or someones DSI , DS lite. And in this , you have to done update CARD.

      and when you tell people what they need to do, say which people need to do that. Some people have different cards which is a different way.

      Is this upgrade really provided by the Nintendo company? Does it really work as good as you are saying?
