Update Wii Shop Channel to v20

I wanna update my Netflix as well but it's telling me I need to update my Wii system. How did you update the Wii Shop Channel itself?? My brain is going crazy after reading and reading through these posts. I keep reading something about installing Wii Shop Channel v21 wad and installing it with WAD manager. However, I can't seem to find that Wii Shop Channel v21 wad, help please??

Can't i just install the Shopping Channel v21 wad by the Wad Manager using the IOS249 which its the one i use for WAD installing?

I recently softmodded my wii and I already have installed the IOS: IOS56-64-v5662.wad. I assume I dont need to do that part again. But there was no choice for v21 of the shop channel. It only went up to 20. I also just updated to see if it would help/work. It did not. I get no change when I enter the wii shop channel. It automatically goes to an option that I need to do a system update. I bought my wii and immediatly modded it. So nothing has been updated. Not sure where to go or what to do from here. Any opinions would be helpful so I can get my netflix working.

For either methods (online or offline), I can use Wad manager 1.7 instead and use v21 of the shopping.wad correct?. I don't use an SD card so my source files will be installed on USB. Will this work?

step 1 load wii mod? how do i load it. do i just download it, extract it and put it in folder, i am terrible at this

ok trying to update my girls wii and i have 4.3 dont remember how i hacked it but i got homebrew 0.3.9 on it she wants netflix and getting the update but not sure if or how to update homebrew to it been so long

What part are you stuck on? You extracted the file. Next step is to put the wiimod folder into your sd/apps folder. The instructions are pretty clear after that. Not sure what else we can tell you that the instructions don't...

Hello, my Unlock Nintendo Wii (4.3 U) with Waninkoko and Hermes cIOS a month (approx) and ISOS WAD and I are working properly but I have a problem when accessing the channel Ishop where I requested an update but so what is, if the update is on break, no?. My question is, how I can update the channel without being Ishop break mode?


PD: Install the "Wii Mod v3.2 and fol tutorial steps, but when I install" Channel Store version I get to number 20, "NO" comes the version number 21 "Which of these options should I choose?

Use the offline installation method. v21 isn't available for download via WiiMod (not sure if it will eventually be updated to include it or what).

I am kind of a dummy when it comes to this stuff. So from the instructions, either method online or offline, downloading wiimod 3.2 is part of the equation, right?

Looks like I will probably going with the offline method. So I download wiimod, extract it to the root of the sd card in a newly created folder called "wiimod" and doing this will make it show up on the HBC next time I start it up, and from there I will merely have to load wiimod 3.2 and then go to the wad folder once wiimod is running to get to the ios56 and shop channel 21?

If this is correct then yes it seems fairly easy, but I was thrown off because of step 1 of the offline instructions not saying anything about downloading wiimod 3.2 but then later in the final step, saying to load wiimod 3.2, and I was just confused about how wiimod was suddenly showing up without having downloaded it.

Hey guys

I stuck at downloading the shop channel #93.. in wiimod menu. I believe my connection lost during the downloading. What should I do? Should I hard reset with holding down the power button?

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm trying again, it seems fine now.

I used the online method where i get just oppurtunity to choose v20 and not 21 and after that i choose ios 56 but i do nothing more and it work perfect and smooth where i can buy wii point and download both youtube and netflix which is both work perfect
