Hahaha...yeah, I had my 15 minutes of fame lol.
But honestly, I would rather loaders chose cIOS automatically, just for ease of use for the noobs lol.

Bmarlotube is a thing of the past..

Back on track though, this is awesome. I wonder what the errors look like when a cIOS with the correct base isn't installed? Anyone seen or heard of it yet?

That will be interesting! I haven't tried it yet, to see how the Autodetection works. Meh...I'll get around to it lol.

Makes me wonder if it will say what base is needed, will it just crash, will it load anyway... I haven't burnt a disc since I started usb loading, but I will go ahead and burn MW3 right now and delete 250 and 224 just to see what happens. Will report back soon.

      OK I got it, found a dvd-r.

So, I launched MW3 without changing any cIOS. Neogamma showed "Init Drive", then showed "GameID:SM8E52", followed by Apploader... A few seconds later it said "Load IOS250", then "Init Drive", then "Block IOS Reload" and the game started. As expected the game ran flawlessly.

Then I deleted 250 and tried again. Same as at the beginning except after Apploader... it said "The requested IOS is: IOS 57". Then it loaded the game anyways, and as expected it hung on the loading... screen. So obviously it will just attempt to load the game on 249 if you do not have the required cIOS. Another interesting note would be that this new "Apploader" did not detect Hermes. I have the usual 5.1 [57] in slot 224, and it was not detected as a compatible cIOS.

That is interesting! So, with Neogamma R9 beta51, if you don't have cIOS250 [57] d2x-v6, you'll just have to install them, and away you go.
Also, I remember IOS switcher never gave the option to choose 224 either. 224 is only applicable on usb loaders it would seem.
      Nice work cjizzle.

So I guess this can now be added to the MW guide lol.

      This is gold..

DVD+r's can be used. It's just not recommended.

Umm thats what we use USB Loaders for.. NeoGamma is mainly for disc loading and has had poor outcomes when trying to run games from hdd.

Check out CFG, USB Loader GX, WiiFlow for running games from HDD and yes all can run from a FAt32 partition.
