• Wii Backup Manager

    (v0.4.5 build 76)

Wii Backup Manager is a WBFS management utility for Windows PCs. Wii Backup Manager is an excellent program that can manage FAT, NTFS and WBFS drives and convert between ISO, CISO, and WBFS files. There are also several automated tasks, the program automatically splits games and treats an NTFS or FAT32 partition as a WBFS partition and automatically creates the appropriate folder. Of course the program still has many other features.

    Features

    Changelog:
    0.4.5 build 76
    |-Added: Menu item on drive pages, "Tools->FAT32/NTFS->Repair WBFS files". This will fix most problems that cause games to show as invalid in WBM. For example, the corrupt WBFS header caused by the renaming bug below and also WBFS files that haven't been trimmed correctly.
    |-Added: "Tools->WBFS->Recovery mode" now also works with WBFS files. If you have invalid entries in the list, this will allow you to transfer the games to another drive or ISO/CISO which will repair them.
    |-Fixed: A serious issue with title renaming that caused corrupt WBFS files. By not rewriting the WBFS header when renaming the title, it removes the possibility of the header getting corrupt. It doesn't need rewritten anyway, so the code shouldn't have been there.
    |-Fixed: (Issue #0000006) In WIndows XP, the visual styles cause the files list to turn black.
    |-Fixed: (Issue #0000004) When I made some changes from WiiTDB to GameTDB, I missed the titles colour entry in the setting dialog. Because it used WiiTDB and the code expected GameTDB, the colour couldn't be edited.

    Basic Usage

    Select the "Drive 1" tab.
Click "Drive" menu, select your drive.
    Select the "Files" tab.
Click "Add" and select "Files..". Select your ISOs, CISOs, RARs, .wbfs in the dialog.
In the files list, tick all the items you want to transfer to the WBFS drive.
Click "Transfer" and select "Drive 1".
    Done.

Which USB Loader are you talking about? CFG, GX, WiiFlow?

I'm not sure & don't really know how to check (sorry, very new to this & not a techo, actaully amazed that I was able to do it & it worked!
      ).

I found this site LinkBucks.com - Get your share! (it's modmii)

Im not experienced enough with Modmii to know what loader it installs. Launch it (the loader). It should say somewhere what loader it is...

This may sound like a dumb question, but have you set up your internet connection on your Wii yet?

No definitly not a dumb question with me. (I may have turned it off to stop my son updating firmware by accident). I'll try it & let u know how I go

You should have installed priiloader and set it to block updates. That will allow you to have your internet enabled without having to worry about accidentally updating.

Your right i do remember doing that now. OK tried to connect but keep getting error codes. first it was 51030 & then tried again & its now 51330. Very confused why i cant get it connected. FYI i have had it connected before

according to the Nintendo Error Code Lookup, the 51330 error code is "The password or key for your wireless router that was entered is incorrect.
Try deleting the connection entirely, then set it up again.

When i want o add new games with through the wii back up manager do i need to import all again or just the new one?

Yes. Its all in the guide.

A little help though lol. Put your cursor near the bottom of the screen in CFG and click on MAIN, then click INSTALL.

EDIT: Just import the new one. Glad you got it sorted!

Can someone post new links to Wii Backup Manager file? All links (even from the .UK web site) seem to go to some spyware/malware program called ilividsetup.eve or something similar that is trying to modify my Windows system.

      Thanks!
