    The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword introduces full motion control enabled by the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which synchronizes player movements with Link's actions while offering intuitive play control.
    With the Wii MotionPlus accessory, every movement of Link's sword matches the player's motion with exact precision. If players motion left to right, Link swings from left to right. The precision play control is applied to enemies as well, as players must contemplate strategy when battling opponents that actively try to defend against attacks.

    Note: If you followed the Softmod ANY Wii Guide you can already load the game with cIOS 248 or 250.

      I softmodded with mauifrogs guide almost a year ago. I tried loading this game from config usb loader. And it returned to the wii menu each time. I tried with ios 248,249,250 . Each time, went directly to wii menu when i loaded the game. Any advice would be much appreciated, wiihacks 4 life

      Update your cIOS with the wads in this guide.

      Hello, having a weird bug playing, it will freeze up on a black screen when entering the Bazaar. I'm using USB Loader GX 2.3 and I just re-softmodded with the guide so I'm all up to date. It happens on 248, 249, 250. Any one else having this issue or any thoughts?? TIA

      This game uses IOS 56 to load

      one i ues iso 56 can i play uesin gecko i want to ues cheat codes

      I'm having a bit of the same issue regarding the Black Screen o' Death. I've followed Mauifrogs Guide, Without updating anything I was able to play Zelda upto the 2nd Dungeon, once the video clip ended for entering it, The Wii completely freezes, So I Followed the update guide for the next IOS revisions, then this guide. Nothing has helped entering the 2nd dungeon and getting a freeze. Im using the latest IOS's, Patches, Config Loader 70 and so on and so forth. I can do anything else but enter that dungeon without a freeze.

      And... Somehow the game just randomly decided Hey... I wanna load the dungeon... Im not sure why lol

      Well I got to the bottom of it after messing with the loader: I finally got into the dungeon not knowing how I did without freezing (only to realize that i loaded the game with base settings) i rebooted the wii, and tried again only to find out, I was messing with Ocarina earlier, Whenever I had it enabled, the game would freeze in the second dungeon but not in the "world" so thats my black screen problem solved.

      Are you using the latest Wiiflow?

      Anyone else having huge problems with aiming on a backup Skyward Sword? The Wii motion plus is extremely sketchy and shaky unless it's always like this (first time using motion +)

      Hello, can anyone help with my problem?

      I have tried stated the Zelda Skyward game, and i get to the point when it want me to connect the Motion Plus and when i connect it nothing more happens. Sometimes i get past that point and it calibrates the Motion Plus but when i start play the motion plus disconnects all the time. I have tried two different Motion Plus addons by now, same problem with both. Is it any special installation i need to do or something to get the Motion Plus working on my WII? (i have not had the chance to try the Motion Plus with an original game)

      I use a softmoded WII, so i play my game using i USB-HDD

      I have all updates like

      CFG USB Loader v70

      cIOS 249 [56] d2x v6
      cIOS 250 [57] d2x v6

      I also tried start the game on both cIOS 249 and 250.
      Samt problem when i try the Wii Sport Resort from my HDD.

      Hope anyone can help, thanks!

      Your syscheck shows that 249 is d2xv6 base 56 so that should run zelda for you

      Indeed, I personally did not wait so many years for the next zelda game to just use cheats! Heresy I say.

      Also game works fine, gotten to earth temple smoothly, No problems at all.

And before trying to play i switched the alternate dol again to "Default" and the game loaded with no problems. If anyone has issues loading the game as i did, i recommend to switch alternate dol to watch the video and switch it back to play. Thanks for your patience and for your help.

      Yeah, watching the video is important. This came up a few days ago too. I didn't think to ask that part, I thought it was added to the guide.

      First of all, hello everyone.

      I'm here today because i finally decided to softmod my Wii using the SOFTMOD FOR ALL WII guide on this website. I think i followed everystep properly although the two games that i posses on my External HD dont seem to want to play for me.

      Using both CFG USB loader v70 and Neogamma r9 beta 52 ;

      When i run the games, it starts loading just fine, i get to see the screen where i see the wii remote and all, then i press A and it puts me to the screen where it says i need to watch a 3min video for the Wii motion plus guide as im trying to play Zelda Skyward sword... on that screen, once i press A... the screen just turns blank as it seems to be loading but suddently it just stops there...... so i get a BIG BLANK WHITE SCREEN, i guess i could call it the WSOD for now (White screen of death....).

      Either way i've tried to search everywhere for this problem and have yet to find someone with a similar issue.. perhaps im not looking at the right place but i tried.... trust me.


      I'd also like to add that i've noticed that CFG USB loader seems to like freezing while Neogamma doesnt.... i wanted to try installing Twilight princess from my DVD dick to my HDD but it seems to freeze in the process....


      So anyways what im trying to say is that ;

      When i load both Zelda or Naruto through either Neogamma or USB loader - It loads and then leads me to Remote screens, then i press A twice and it gets stuck at white screen forcing me to power the Wii down.

      I tried running Twilight princess from DVD through Neogamma and it worked fine.



      I'm a noob at this so i really need some help to get this fixed....

      Could this have anything to do with the fact that the games are NTSC and not PAL? Could this have something to do with the country or little tweaks like that?

      The guide in this forum, which was very helpful, doesn't mention the part of switching the alternate dol file. And that is what made possible for me to see the video and play
