everytime i try to play the game it gives me a messenge that says"Could not complete the calibration check".i have see the video before,that explains everything.Any idea what am i doin wrong?My wii is been in softmod for 3 and a half years now"i had use the Twilight Hack"to install the homebrew channel.Any ideas what am i doin wrong?

I installed cIOS as specified in this thread, but now I am stuck at the entrance of Faron Woods; when I tried enter it, the loading screen (white screen) would come up, and it would take around 10-20 loading, then the blackscreen with "disc could not be read" interrupted. During the disc reading, there are cracking-like sound from the wii, so I guess it was trying to read the disc or something. Before this entrance scene, there were some other white loading screen scenes happened (during the Wing's ceremony I guess). What happened is, it took around 40-50 sec to load (which is unusually long), but still it loaded up and I could continue my game. However, everytime I tried enter this Faron Woods entrance scene, it prompted "disc could not be read" error. Therefore, I couldn't continue my game.

I suspect that it is not the disc problem, because some of my game receive the same "disc could not be read" error. What is weird is that some of the game (Arc fantasia etc.) has this error happened only on specifc scene changes, or entering new location, during the game (the same as my zelda game problem). Therefore, I suspect the problem is with my wii unable to read or do some specific functions related to loading scenes.

You need Motion plus.

Perhaps your DVD drive is on it's way out. How old is the Wii?

thank you for the reply. i buy i motion plus for my wii remote yesterday.the motion plus it works on the game but Zelda its unplayable without the calibration first.why does give that error?My Wii's FW is 3.2E and i use Neogamma with an external USB drive.

Hard to say why it's giving you the error. Are you laying the motion plus on a flat surface when it's calibrating?
Maybe try the game with a USB loader, like Usb loader GX? Instead of Neogamma.

Yes i put the motion plus on a flat surface all the time but nothin...I try to load it with the USB Loader CX and the Cios blocker 002 enabled but still the same problem.is there any patch or something that i must have on my moded wii???any ideas?

I have it for 2 years now. How do I check if my DVD drive is the problem? I only get this problem on the entrance of Faron Woods. Before that, I have no problem with entering new scene (though it took me around 30-40 sec to load, but the game still continue perfectly fine). Now I'm desperate to get it work, so that I could continue my long-awaited game.

Thanks for guide, I use and have tested this game on Usbloader GX and Wiiflow and Config Usb Loader and it works fine of all, Thanks to your tuturial guide's I have all my iso's up to date, I have also installed dx v7 from the Wiiflow site with wad install, I also have tested it from disc using hardmodchip and it works fine, I used some cheap TDK DVD-R.

If plus controller isn't callibrating it sounds faulty you should try it on sports resort or another plus game.The game sit's on the first screen without plus controller try pressing the red button inside the plus controller and on the front of the wii maybe it's not paired properly.

Anyway thanks for this guide I only have 2 games with issues and there Ubisoft ones.

I have just bought the game, and have been reading that I shoudn't play the game without updating the Wii.

My Wii is soft modded, but I can't remember exactly to what, it was updated to get Mario Galaxy 2 working a couple years ago.

Can I just play the game without updating the cIOS (I don't know if I have the IOS blocker)? I'm confused, please help.

The wii won't prompt to update if you're already on 4.3 or loading from a loader. Upate the cIOS with the wads I put in the guide.

to put the puppets on

can i play the game without a portal ?
or can i use something else instead ?

Quite strange for two reasons. First being you are talking about Skylanders Spyro's Adventure and this is a thread for the new Zelda game Skyward Sword. Second being the game you are talking about comes with the portal, so why would you not have it? Hmmm....

I have the following patches installed: 4,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,20,21,22,28,30,31,33,3 4,35,36,37,38,50,51,53,55,56,57,60,61,70,222,249,2 50,254

I have obviosuly downloaded MMM, so do i still install the recommended pack? or do i have to update my system to version 4.3?
