• [Guide] Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword introduces full motion control enabled by the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which synchronizes player movements with Link's actions while offering intuitive play control.
With the Wii MotionPlus accessory, every movement of Link's sword matches the player's motion with exact precision. If players motion left to right, Link swings from left to right. The precision play control is applied to enemies as well, as players must contemplate strategy when battling opponents that actively try to defend against attacks.

Note: If you followed the Softmod ANY Wii Guide you can already load the game with cIOS 248 or 250.

When you select 250 and freezes thats because that IOS is stub. Reinstall it from this guide. You can try ripping the game from the original disc and see if that fixes the freezing issue.

TY to smithr99 for the info about wii motion plus (4th page of this discussion), that was the cause of my black screen and reboot issue. I used an original disc to view the wii motion plus video and now my backup plays flawlessly. Just an FYI, im still using rev 17, so a cios upgrade is not really necessary. What IS necessary, upgrading your loader, I recently upgraded usbloader gx using IOS 58 (previously it was using 61) . If you need help with this refer to http://www.wiihacks.com/content/276-...v1-x-v2-2.html Other then that, if you've never used wii motion plus before, this is where the issue is coming from. Either pop in the original disk to view the wii motion plus instructional video or use smithr99 's instructions on page 4 to change temporarily the boot file, once you view the video, your backup should play fine =)

Extract it, put it in the WAD folder, then install with MMM/Wad manager, then go into the game settings in wiiflow and change the IOS the game loads from to 250.

Are you sure you did it all correctly? I am guessing you missed something. Going from gx 1 to gx 2+ requires some special attention. You may want to look back at the guide on that issue.

I'm sure i did it all correctly because i followed every single step of the guide. Thats why i think my situation is very awkward.
I installed the ISO58, then i updated my HBC to 1.0.8, i deleted the config folder content, i replaced the files in the usbloader_gx folder.
Wasn't that what i had to do?
      Thanks in advance

Sounds like you did it right, did you remember to set the loader to use the correct cios for that game?

I have now entered the usbloader, i selected the Zelda game, i went to "Settings" and then "Game Load". I have to replace "-1" with "249" in the "Game IOS" or should i write anything else?

That depends on where you have the correct base cios......if you followed mauifrogs guide then 248 will be the correct one. Wherever your base 56 cios is the number you will want to enter there. Actually base 57 works as well...so 250 on a mauifrog mod will work too.

Note: If you followed the Softmod ANY Wii Guide you can already load the game with cIOS 248 or 250.

i loaded the HBC and load the d2x installer, i can't "Select IOS36" or "236" to use during the installation. How can i change it, if it's a must?
I selected cIOS to install "D2X v6", base IOS "56", cIOS slot "249"

That is a strange syscheck but you can pick any of those ios that are patched (trucha) to run the d2x installer. I really suggest that you do the softmod any Wii guide though.
