• [Guide] Legend Of Zelda Skyward Sword

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword introduces full motion control enabled by the Wii MotionPlus accessory, which synchronizes player movements with Link's actions while offering intuitive play control.
With the Wii MotionPlus accessory, every movement of Link's sword matches the player's motion with exact precision. If players motion left to right, Link swings from left to right. The precision play control is applied to enemies as well, as players must contemplate strategy when battling opponents that actively try to defend against attacks.

Note: If you followed the Softmod ANY Wii Guide you can already load the game with cIOS 248 or 250.

This thread is to help users get the game running, but not to help pirates. I am not sure how that translates into you getting the wrong end of anything. You agreed to the site rules.

Maybe this will help some of you out here, hopefully.

I had done my Wii with the twilight hack, a a while back and I was on 4.2u. I played Zelda skyword sword about 10 hours in multiple sessions. I decided to upgrade to 4.3u and redo my Wii and use Pimp my wii. After I did this, my Zelda would not run. I had all the good cIOS but it just didn't want to work. I saw the remote image that every game had, but it never recognize the wii remote then the screen would just blank out.

I brought the game to my friend who has his Wii the same way I did. It worked on his. I tried my Wii on his HDD and the game worked.

I decided to do a last test, I just put the game on a usb key and try loading it that way, and it worked.

My conclusion is that my hard disk drive takes too long to load games when selected and for some reason, Zelda Skyword game doesn't want to load, but all the other games I tested still did work.

My HDD is usb powered and is a 5400 rpm. My friend HDD is a 7200 rpm and needs to be powered with an outlet and this one works.

Hopefully this will solve some problems some of you guys have. I run my with iso 250, having iso 249 and iso 250 d2x as this guide mention.

Ok so I just got my game and installed using the Wii itself but game won't play at all. It kicks me back to the Wii Menu when I try to load it!! Please help!!! I tried running on 222, 223, 249, 250. I had a virgin Wii that I updated using the latest softmod ANY wii guide. Only thing I can think of is that I am using cUSBLoader v61. How do I update to v70 to try out the game again? I know it's not anything to do with my game and most of all the newer games work with the softmod ANY wii guide. Thanks.

Just use search on the forum or google for the newest version.
Then just copy it over to your SD, so on. Pretty sure there is an guide here somewhere on it.

You gotta have the motion plus wiimote, no doubt about it!

Well i doubt there is a issue with the software, you could try to vacum clean the fan. Maybe there is some dust where it shouldnt be.

Other than that, you could try to use mauiforg's guide and update
Your wii again.

Btw, do you only get this problem on Z:SS?

I am having some difficulties. I havent mess with my Wii in years. I am still softmod with Wii US 4.1. I had Neogamma like 49 so i deleted. I downloaded the new neogamma 52 but i cant seem to know how to install as a channel. Since in the folder there is no WAD. Also, instead of installing just cios249 i installed all recommended cios by accident. Right now, i have burned 3 times the game thinking there is something wrong with my burn. But it shows on the top wii game channel. The Legend of Zelda ......., but when i click on Neogamma (running from SD card since i cant install as a channel) load it, i then get a Disc can not be read error.

Can anyone tell me what am i doing wrong?

My Wii has priiloader 0.3b on it. My brother is another location bought Skyward Sword the other day. Next. I am going to mail the Wii to my brother, so he can play Skyward Sword, but I was wondering if it would boot up like this? Do I need to update priiloader? I can't boot up the real copy of the game normally like a normal wii?

I'm pretty sure I told you to follow this guide to get the game to work in your other thread.
Priiloader has nothing to do with the game.

My bad, I guess I have poor reading comprehension. I read what you said as ASK on this guide forum. Yeah, I already read the guide here. Does the disc bootup method = Real games?

By real games, I assume you mean the retail copy?
But yes, it will work for both backup and retail game.
